Rotating angle is entered in A. The bit head rotates 0.20 when minimum
numeric value 0.2 is entered. And the dierection of bit rotation is

The main body and the controller must be placed on the ground.

2. Pneumatics
Pneumatics in the air tubes of the machine shall be kept 5.5kg/cm 2
at a minimum. A minimum of pneumatics at the inlet of the tube shall
NOT be less than 5.5kg/cm 2 •
Dry air is ONLY available in the machine.
Dust and powder in the air may cause the mulfunction of the machine.

There are 3m of a air tube 81> in diameter equipped with the machine,
but is NOT a quick joint at the end of the tube. It is because the
setting condition at a factory is different from each other.
A atandard model of the KOGANEI quick joint 81> in diameter should
be recommended.
When nessesary to connect to the longer distance than the standard,
a tube of the same diameter as such is good for the operation, but
the narrower than standard is NOT suitable .

6-1. Loader (Conveyor)

1. The loader consists of main belt and sub belt near the opening of the
main body, having a P.C.board stopper, a back-up mechanism, a push
mechanism, and sensor at each three stations.

2. Specification
1) Movement Left to right (as standard) Belt system
2) P.C. Board size Min. 50 x50mm ~ 250 x330mm
(width adjust Manually)
3) Board registration Edge or guide pin type
4) Space under the board 30mm
5) Clearance between loader 7mm (lower)
and board 3mm (upper)
6) Board height 143mm from main frame surface
7) Board feeding speed 4 second

3. Operating principle
The board is backed up by a board-shaped supporter and pushed at the side
to the fixed guide rail on the first sensor by the variable guide rail,
being fixed not to play.
After finishing mounting, the board is sent to the next station with the
board stopper turned down. As the second sensor make sure the board to
pass, the stopper returns status quo ante which is uP.

4. Adjustment
Adjust the width of the guide rails on the loader by loosening the handle
at each station under the loarder (see figure) in accordance with the
width of the board.
The range of side play can be accepted within O.5mm~O.lmm.
Be sure the board to be loaded stably and not to deviate from the belt.
After finishing the adjustment, fasten the handle tightly.
Confirm to set the board stably at a right angle against the line.

(2) Adjustment of the push mechanism

The push mechanism is the on which two pushers slides the variable
guide rail to push the board to the fixed guide rail so the board
does not play on the loader.
Vary the space between the two pushers in accordance with the length
of the P.C.B (the print circuit board).
Control the board loading speed in your disposal by using the speed
controller.
Turning the speed controller in the clockwise direction will make
the acting speed faster,

Fig 5
(3) Adjustment of the sensitivity of the photo-sensor
The sensor is on green, when the P.C.board on the loader is over it.
Poor reflexing on the surface of the board makes it's sensitivity
lower.
Turn the knob (A) of the controller from HIN(low) to HAX(high) to
light green, in accordance with the behavior of the board.
(see Fig 6)

(4) Adjustment of the up-and-down action of the board stopper

Turning the knob (B) of the speed controller. which locates upper
the cylinder on the loader, in the clockwise direction can make the
acting speed faster. on the other hand turning the knob (C) of the
speed controller in the clockwis~ direction slower.
(see Fig 6)

(5) The back-up mechanism

Turning the knob (D) of the speed controller. which locates upper
the cylinder on the loader, in the clockwise direction can make the
acting speed faster. on the other hand turning the knob (E) of the
speed controller in the clockwise direction slower. Adjust each two
board-shaped supporters simultaneously to raise up.
(see Fig 6)

Note The air cylinders of board stopper and back-up mechanism work duallY.
The acting speed is controlled by air escapement from a air cylinder.

(1) Setting up a cassette on the tape feeder base

This tape feeder base is designed to be slidable.
At first, set a tape on a cassette drawn out from a slot of the
shaft on the base.
And then slide it base, inserting into the fixture on the b~se.

Note : Be sure to lock the cassette tightly.

The poor insertion of the cassette may result in missing
picking UP a part, or breaking a bit of the chip head.
(2) Speed controlling
Adjust a speed controller so the reel works at requiared speed to feed
a part. The stroke of it's cylinder can be controlled by air flow rate
through a valve of the controller in front of the electromagnetic valve.
After finishing adjusting the speed. set the locknut completely.
The cylinder's upward acting speed depends on the amount of the air flow
rate. on the hand its lowering speed is adjusted by air escapement from
it. which is called the meter-out mechanism.

Turning the valve of the controller

b. The part in the pool is sent UP to the entry of the rail by air
flow blowing off at regular intervals from the air hole.
c. The part drops into the rail from its entry, and is aligned on the
chip rail under the action of vibration.
d. The part failed to put in good order on it is dropped out to the

c. Confirm the actual part center by using the function-key F5, the way
which the actual center on the screen is superposed on the input
coordinates position on the monitor screen.

5. Caution

a. DO NOT open the cover of the camera control unit. This may result in
an electric shock or some other accidents.
b. DO NOT give a camera or a control unit to a heavy shock or a strong
vibration. This may result in the failure of their actions.
c. DO NOT turn the camera eye toword excessively intense light.
The intensity of light such as a spotlight may result in blooming
or smear on the monitor screen.
d. Also intense light may have the screen emerged vertical stripes,
but it is not the fault.
e. DO put "OFF" the main swich, when plug IN/OUT the interconnecting
cable of the camara at the connecter on the control nuit.
f. When cleaning the camera body, DO out OFF the main swich, and wipe
the camera body with a dry cloth. And remove the tough stain from
it with a cloth soaked with synthetic detergents. DO use a sheet of
lens cleaning paper (applicable to glasses or cameras) to clear the
lens of the camera.
g. DO NOT change the level of trimmers and switches, which are properly
set at the factory.

at a minimum. A minimum of pneumatics at the inlet of the tube shall
NOT be less than 5.5kg/cm 2 •
Dry air is ONLY available in the machine.
Dust and powder in the air may cause the mulfunction of the machine.

There are 3m of a air tube 8 </> in diameter equipped with the machine,
but is NOT a quick joint at the end of the tube. It is because the
setting condition at a factory is different from each other.
A atandard model of the KOGANEI quick joint 8 </> in diameter should
be recommended.
When nessesary to connect to the longer distance than the standard,
a tube of the same diameter as such is good for the operation, but
the narrower than standard is NOT suitable.
