In South Asia, coconut has been traditionally reputed to carry nutritive and nourishment properties and is therefore used in various forms in day-to-day life from food preparation to
skin and hair applications. Lubrizols Glucamate* SSE-20, Glucate* SS and Promulgen* D nonionic emulsifiers provide excellent emulsifying and stabilization properties
to this 50% coconut oil cream base. Merquat* 550 polymer offers conditioning properties enabling the use of coconut oil on the skin and hair without a sticky, heavy feel. The
formula does not contain any odor from coconut oil and is easy to apply.

Coconut Full Nourishment Cream (50% Oil Loading)

Procedure:
1.

With gentle mixing, heat PART A in a main kettle up to 70C.

2.

With gentle mixing, heat PART B in a separate vessel up to 70C.

3.

Add PART B into PART A at 70C with rapid mixing, mix well for 10 to 15 minutes.

4.

Homogenize the PART A/B at 70C for 5 min.

5.

Cool the batch with mixing to 40C.

6.

Add PART C into PART A/B with continuous mixing.

7.

Add PART D into PART A/B/C and mix well.

8.

Add fragrance and mix well and finish the batch.
