ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR GENERATOR SETUP

Open the link http://rlab.bits-pilani.ac.in/ to access and enter your BITS Login ID and
Password.
Once you enter, the following webpage will open and now click Select Course.

Once you click on the Select Course, the following page appears with three Courses namely

Electrical &Electronics Engineering

Instrumentation & Control

Engineering Measurements

For Motor Generator setup, select the course Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Click on Select Experiment .

Once you click Select Experiment which displays Motor Generator setup to carry out several
experiments.

Now select Asynchronous Motor Generator Setup by clicking on GO.

Asynchronous Motor Generator Setup page opens as shown in fig 5 and now to carry out the
various experiments click Lets Begin.

List of Experiments on Asynchronous Motor Generator Setup will be displayed.

To understand the working of each experiment, Click on GO which will display the manual for
that particular experiment.
To proceed with the experiment Click on SCHEDULE.

Now schedule your Session and Click Launch Lab to Launch the Experiment.

Once you click on Launch Lab, a mail will be send as you have booked a slot for that
particular setup and you will be taken to the page as shown in Fig.8

NOTE: Popup should be enabled for the webpage to see the above screen.
Social Buttons give three options such as

Split screen displays both the Experiment and Live camera feed

Experiment displays the experiment alone

Camera displays the Camera alone.

Once you open .exe file the application opens as shown in Fig.9. Click on the Experiment tab
which enables the experiment list.

Click on the respective experiment to carry out. For Example, if you click on Understanding of
VFD button the screen appears as shown in Fig.10.

To be Remembered, only 10 minutes is allocated to execute each experiment.

Follow the instructions given in the display to execute and understand each experiment.
NOTE: For Proper view of Experiments, use 1366 X 756 Resolution or above.
