TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE


Your order is subject to the following terms and conditions (unless you have made special arrangements directly with us). These may
change from time to time.

1. Your order
We will do our best to fulfil your order but cannot guarantee to do so. No contract is formed until we send you acknowledgement and
acceptance of your order. Online access will normally be provided within 24 hours of the placing of your order. If your order included
the supply of the course text, this will normally be despatched within 7 days of your order. However, these times are estimates and
are not guaranteed.

2. Price
The price stated on our order forms is inclusive of any applicable value added or other sales tax. The breakdown of any applicable
value added tax (VAT) payable with your order is indicated on the receipt you (or the cardholder if different) will receive. Prices are as
stated from time to time on the order form and are subject to change without notice. Where applicable, post and packing charges are
also indicated separately on the form and on the receipt. If you purchase the electronic course and subsequently request the hardcopy course text, you will be required to pay the standard shipping charge for your region at the time of such request.

3. Product
Courses purchased are made in your name and under the programme rules are non-transferrable.
In order to utilise the course website you must supply a valid email address.
Courses may be selected in English, Spanish, Chinese or Arabic.
For Chinese and Arabic, you should be aware that, although the course materials are in your chosen language and you may take your
examinations in that language, all other information is in English. You must be able to understand and communicate in English in
order to register for your examinations, purchase your courses and manage your programme. Non-English language versions are
available for specific courses, as shown on the order form.
The system requirements for the course websites are:
Operational Internet connection
One of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Firefox 3 or higher
The browser must have JavaScript enabled, and must accept cookies
For the pdfs, Adobe Acrobat 4 or higher is required.

3b. Title and Risk


You are solely responsible for the importation of those goods into the country of delivery (including arranging for any necessary legal
consents and payment of duties or taxes), and we accept no responsibility for any claims arising from such importation.
Ownership of all goods shall remain vested in us (and we reserve the right to dispose of the goods) until we have received payment in
full of all debts you owe to us.

3c. Licence
The following terms apply to installable software such as the 'Running the British Economy' simulation:
YOU MAY:
Use (load into temporary memory or permanent storage) a copy of the product on up to three devices at a time. The product may
only be installed in a manner such that it is not accessible to other machines on a network.
Transfer the product from one device to another provided that it is installed on no more than three devices at a time.
YOU MAY NOT:
Rent or lease the product or any part of it.
Copy any part of the product, except where specifically indicated otherwise or for back-up purposes.
Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the product.
Use the product on more than one device at a time.
Allow anyone else to use the product.
Transfer the ownership of the product or any part without gaining our permission.
Please note that we continue to own any software supplied to you; you will only own the disk or other media (if any) on which it is
supplied.

4. Payment
All credit/charge card payments are subject to authorisation by the card issuer. No order will be processed until confirmation of
payment is received. If authorisation is subsequently withdrawn, we will cancel your order (and notify you that we have done so) and,
in the case of physical product, you must return the goods to us at your own expense, or, in the case of digital or electronic product
or services, cease use of the same forthwith. The goods remain our property until you have paid for them.

5. Cancellation and Returns


In general, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have a right to cancel your contract. Simply notify us of
your request to cancel within 7 days of receiving access to your online materials and, at your option, we will issue a full refund for the
price of the course or supply you with an alternative. If the physical course text has not been dispatched to you at the point of
cancellation we will also refund the postage. However, if a course text has been dispatched, you must return the goods to us at your
own expense, whether you have cancelled your order or requested an alternative course.
4 Day Seminar: students will have up to 30 days before the start of the seminar to cancel and receive a full refund.
Revision Seminar: students will have up to 7 days before the start of the seminar to cancel and receive a full refund.

6. General
We do not make any representation or give any warranty or undertaking as to the quality of the goods or services, their
correspondence with description or fitness for purpose, or that the goods are not defamatory, injurious, obscene or unlawful, or that
any trademarks or copyright used on or in connection with the goods do not infringe any intellectual property rights not owned by us.
We will do our best to ensure that access to our Website is available on a constant basis but do not give any guarantees in this
respect. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our contract if this is due to circumstances beyond our
reasonable control. As far as is permitted by law, all implied warranties, conditions or other terms are hereby excluded.
In the case of software or other downloadable electronic product, we do not make any representation or give any warranty or
undertaking that the functions of such product meet your requirements or that the media is compatible with any computer system on
which it is used or that the operation of the software will be unlimited or error-free. In no event shall we be liable for any damages
whatsoever arising out of the installation of such product. You assume responsibility for selecting the product to achieve your intended
results and for the installation, use of and results obtained from that product.

We shall not in any circumstances be liable for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever caused. You are not permitted to remove
or amend any trademark, copyright or other proprietary notice on any of our products. You acknowledge that all rights in and to any
and all copyrights and other intellectual property rights relating to our products are and shall remain our property. You will not at any
time do, or cause to be done, any act or thing which impairs or infringes those rights.
These terms and conditions and all contracts under these terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance
with the laws of Scotland and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
We reserve the right to terminate any contract formed under these terms and conditions immediately by written notice and to take
action to recover damages suffered by us if you breach any of these provisions.
