Assoc. Prof. Dr Shamsul Rahman Mohamed Kutty
Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohamed Hasnain Isa
Potable water is one of the necessities of life. Usage of water introduces various types
of pollutant in it and renders it unsuitable for many uses. Treatment and disposal of
wastewater are important activities in the field of civil engineering. This subject
provides a basic understanding of the design and operation of physical, chemical and
biological unit processes in the treatment of domestic and industrial wastewaters.
