Change Is Coming

.friends, classmate, teacher, administrator, parents. Good afternoon..

can you imagine it? Youth who called as the answer and the fulfillment of
dreamed future leader and forth runner of this nations believe that nothing
Filipino is good enough anymore ??? Even their Filipino names no longer
suit them A boy named Juanito does unhappy to be called Juan, No.., not
Juan, he must be Johny. A girl named Virginia would get sore if she was
nicknamed Binang. No, she must be Vergie, Christina shame to heard Tinang,
Roberto must become Robert, instead of Maria, they called Mary or Marie
and Julieta must be called Juliet or Julie. Obviously, we put down our honor
and dignity and become Americanized. We Filipino are become stranger to
our home land.
We always says that I am a FilipinoI am proud to be Filipino. But we do
nothing to raise up our nation land There was a time, when I passed
along the road way early in the morning, I saw people sitting and drinking
alcohol and enjoying lives. They are just wasting time doing nothing instead
of searching an opportunities my poor fellow Filipino. And when I got dropped
hanging in the mall and observing people, a common idea of a Filipino is
always funds and extravagant clothes, bags and shoes, embracing foreign
nature. These effects conjugate together and form an impassable barrier
toward a better future. This is just a common reality nowadays being
untrue to ourselves, but what is our need? A great really need? What kind of
change that we highest need?
an hour, a days, a weeks, a months and even a year gone fast!!!
Dictatorship, discrimination, persecution and brutality had passed, foreign
battleship, weapons, and military left our land. Our flag raised in full dignity
and colors. An independent government formed and fortified by laws. A
nation formed by people with its own right, language and identity to be
proud of the Philippines is free at last, or is it? Corruption, poverty, dirty
politics and other national problems both minors and majors are present and
imminent nowadays. Moral and Character is sweeping around the country.
We are in Need for a Change, a change that will not come from the other but
with you, with me!!! We have to eradicate the image of a common Filipino
which still bound to the old culture of being idle and going to the flow. We
have to become a new Filipino bound with a new culture of being discipline,
righteous, and persevering. A new Filipino which is honest ad loyal, anew
Filipino which full of Patriotism for his country, a new Filipino with love and
compassion to raised our nation land. Not a Filipino who relaxed, vigilance
that we have allowed ourselves to deteriorate, to lost our pride in the
Philippines that with no longer consider it a privilege and honor to be born a
Filipino.

The future of our country is at our hand but what is the true dilemma of our
society? The truth is corruption and other problems are just contributors in
the deterioration of our country, our culture is the one to be blame of. The
reality that we dont think for the future but just think of today, many says
that immigrating and Filipino abroad must go back and work for their
country instead. But what is the use of patriotism if the stomach is empty,
we have to admit that our minimum wage is so low for a growing economy
tied up with growing population trend thats eats up our economic gain and
low job availability or job mismatch. A Filipino also tends to give importance
to white collar jobs and ignore the blue collar jobs like welding, gardening
etch. Which are the basic job in our society. We also didnt pursue agrarian
reform unlike our neighbor country Japan and Taiwan to give the importance
and lift the current situation of our laborer and farmer. We are lack in
implementation. Our laws are nearly perfect but cannot be implemented and
enforced properly. These are the problem of our society and do need an
immediate change.
We have the capacity and the decision to change and prosper, reform in the
education sector can be the answer to these problem, if we focused on
education we can and we will purge the root cause of these problem. Social
revolution can also be done to induce reform. Not a bloody one but a
peaceful one. But Im not provoking a revolution to overthrow the
government but a revolution inside ourselves. Education Reform and Social
revolution will not succeed if we will not change our attitude and perspective
in life.
The sole solution of these problem is a CHANGE, a CHANGE start at us, a
CHANGE that will create an unbreakable towline of changes among others. A
CHANGE that will be remarkable to our nation. A CHANGE that fulfill the
longingness of our country.
Now we have a new elected President, Mr. Digong Duterte, declaring new
governance, a new authority and power, and it seems that his imperative
and domineering law is an effective and efficient, but Is it enough for us to
grow our economic society? To raised up our land? Is it enough to have a
good leader without a good member? No it wouldnt be enough. A change
starts within us. A good leadership cannot be powerful if his people walk
outside the path way, if his people dont follow him. If his people dont
change of being idle. Wake up!!! My dearest fellow Filipino. Starts our
CHANGE now, not tomorrow. A CHANGE starts within ourselves and we will
see a CHANGE IS COMING to our beloved nation land. And we could shout a
Filipino is a free at last.
