RELEASING THE ANGELS TO WORK ON YOUR BEHALF

Under the Old Covenant, the saints did not have authority over the angels; therefore they
had to wait on them for help. Today, angels wait on us because now we can use the name
of Jesus, which is a greater name than angels, to dispatch angels to do their work.
Prior to the cross, the scriptures taught that Jesus was "made a little lower than the
angels." But the scriptures teach that now he is "crowned with glory and honor" so that
angels submit to Him and His name (see Hebrews 2:9, 1 Peter 3:22 and Philippians 2:10).
LOOSING YOUR ANGELS
Matt 18:18

"Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in
heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
In Matthew 18:18, Jesus gave the Church the keys of the kingdom of heaven. He said the
word bind is a term to describe our power to tie up Satan.
a. What do we loose?

saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet "Release the four angels who
are bound at the great river Euphrates."
You can readily see that angels are meant to be loosed. And who has the power to loose
angels? Jesus said that we do. We have the keys of the kingdom!
b. How do we loose the angels?
Ps 103:20

Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word,
heeding the voice of His word.
Notice that angels hearken--listen and act upon--the VOICE of God's Word.
In other words, angels act on God's Word that we speak out of our mouths. They listen to
us speaking God's Word. And when we speak God's Word, angels rush to perform it in
our lives.
Can you see how we have hindered angels in performing their duties for us? We bind
angels when we speak contrary to God's Word, and say things such as "Nothing ever
works out for me." "If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all." "I'm so
clumsy." "I live by Murphy's Law." "I can't seem to get out of debt."

ANGELS LISTEN TO OUR WORDS

Luke 12:8-9

"Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man
also will confess before the angels of God.

"But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
Jesus declares to the angels what we declare. When we confessed that Jesus was our
Lord, Jesus confessed to the angels that He was our Lord. Angels are aware of what we
confess here on earth. Jesus echo's our words to the angels, and depending on what we
say, they bring to pass our words.
There's an interesting story in the Bible which illustrates this truth. You know the story.
Jesus was tempted by the devil for forty days, and while being tempted Jesus did only
one thing: He spoke the Word of God. He kept saying, "It is written...It is written...It is
written." After Jesus kept quoting God's Word, the Bible says, "Then the devil left him,
and angels came and attended him" (Matthew 4:11). Do you suppose the reason why the
angels came to Jesus was because He kept speaking God's Word? I think so! Angels
hearken unto the voice of God's Word. Jesus gave voice to the Word, and angels came to
minister to Him. Angels will do the same for you if you will do what Jesus did--and that
is speak God's Word!
MAKE GOD YOUR DWELLING
Psalm 91:9-12

Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High,
your dwelling place,
10
No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
12
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
God promises complete protection for the person who makes the Most High his dwelling.
The secret to tapping into the power of this Psalm is to make the Most High your
dwelling. That is the key. God promises protection, so long as you make the Most High
your dwelling.
So how do you make God your dwelling? The answer is at the beginning of this Psalm. It
says, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the
Almighty. I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, `He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in
whom I trust.'" You make the Most High your dwelling the same way that David did--by
SAYING OF THE LORD that He is your dwelling! Your confession that He is your
refuge and fortress is what makes God become your refuge and fortress.
And what does God do when you confess that He is your refuge and fortress? He
commands His angels to guard you in all your ways so that no harm befalls you nor any

disaster overtakes you. Angels work for you because you confess who God is to you and
what He will do for you.
This is what Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did before they were thrown into the fiery
furnace. They boldly declared, "The God we serve is able to deliver us from the burning
fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O King!" They stood their ground
in faith. And what was the outcome? God sent an angel to keep them from burning. The
angel heard God's Word coming from the lips of these courageous saints--and he
harkened unto their words.
FEAR GOD
Ps 34:7
7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers
them.
The angel of the Lord delivers those who fear God, not who fear tragedy.
Ps 34:11-14

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
14
Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The fear of the Lord is manifested in restraining the tongue. If you fear God, then you
will speak the truth. And what is truth? Jesus said, "Thy word is truth!" God's Word is the
highest form of truth in the universe.
By speaking God's Word, you are keeping your tongue from evil and from speaking lies.
And when you do, the angel of the Lord will encamp around you to deliver you in times
of trouble. This angel will do this because you show the fear of the Lord by speaking His
Word!
ASKING THE FATHER FOR ANGELS
The key to getting angels into your ministry is not by directly inviting angels into your
life but by praying to the Father. It's OK to ask the Father to bring angels into your life or
your church and to let the manifestation of angels be known in your meetings.
I believe that because Jesus could call for the angels, that as sons and daughters, we also
have 12 legions of angels at our disposal. Like Jesus, we can pray to our Father. We've
got to say
"Father I thank you for the angels. Thank you for the Cherubim and for the
Seraphim. I thank you that the Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear
Him. I thank you for the reality of angels from the beginning of the Bible to the end
of the Bible. I thank you for the angels that bring forth your purposes. I thank you

Father for the angels that protect me and the angels that are involved in the harvest.
I thank you for the angels that are involved in the glory realm. Lord, let those angels
come right now. Father I ask you for the angels that can take authority over the
demonic powers and principalities that are in this room tonight so that I can release
the miracles and so that I can release the healings."
The bible shows us that you and I are partners with the angels and what is going on in
heaven. What goes on in heaven in the invisible, whether we are overcoming the works of
darkness or whether we are being overcome, has something to do with our partnership on
the earth with angels. That is why it is so important that we use angels in intercession and
spiritual warfare.
PARTNERING WITH ANGELS IN WARFARE

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Victory came by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. They didn't love
their lives even unto death. These are prophetic acts that give strength to the heavenly
battle against the Devil and his angels. Through laying our lives down, appropriating the
blood and declaring the word of our testimony, we overcome. The word that comes out of
our mouths actually gives strength to the battle that is going on in heaven and destroys
the enemy's works.
God is looking for partners who will proclaim prophecy and pray into the heavenlies so
that the angels can be released in the spirit and the angels can be released in the region to
overcome the warfare. We have authority to release angels to work on our behalf through
prayer. It's important that we learn to pray for the angels to come: In my city, Oh God,
we are under warfare. Father, I ask you for the angels right now. I want them to prevail.
Everyday war rages in the second heaven war for your soul, war for your house, war for
your body and war for your money. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against
powers and principalities. We are in a constant battle. We need to be sober and alert,
understanding the reality of the demonic realm and the reality of the angelic realm. We
need to understand that it is OK to say,
"Father let the angels come right now and be involved in intercession, warfare and
healing. Let the reinforcements come into the region" These angels, according to
Psalm 103, are to do His word, which is His purpose and activity on the earth. But angels
also carry out His word, which means that they are acting on what you say with the words
that God has revealed to you. Angels partner with humans and with God's word in His
people. We release His word into the spirit realm as prophetic decrees.
RELEASING ANGELS FOR SOUL WINNING
Heb 1:14

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will
inherit salvation?

Angels are involved in wining souls. So we can be more successful in soul winning if we
simply say,
"Father, I ask angels right now, to come into the region to gather the harvest. Let
angels come right now to win souls in the North, East, South, and West of my city.
Father I release the angels."
Scripture tells us that the god of this age is blinding hearts and minds so there are times
where souls cant be saved because of deep darkness that covers the earth. However, as
we begin to prophesy, we can command the captive to come out of His prison and we can
begin to prophesy salvation into our city and region saying,
"Father, give us the reinforcements and give us the angels that we need. We release
them right now. We acknowledge them in the region so they can come and help us
get victory in warfare and so we can have the harvest."
Rev 14:15

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him
who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You
to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
God has assigned specific angels in heaven to world evangelism. As we pray to the
Father, we can have an increase of harvest in our lives. That is one of the primary tasks of
angels.
ANGELS HELP MINISTER STRENGTH AND HEALING
Another aspect of the angelic job description is that of ministering divine strength. When
you are in a place of hardship, trial, warfare, suffering or you're burned out and beaten
down, it is scriptural for angels to come and minister to you.
They ministered to Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane and after His forty-day fast. They
imparted divine strength and life to Him. For those of you who have been in the desert or
under attack by the enemy,
John 5:2-4

Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in
Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.

In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting
for the moving of the water.

For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the
water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well
of whatever disease he had.
Whenever the angel stirred the waters, whoever was first into the water would be healed.
Ps 91:11-12

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Scripture also speaks of angels that bring divine protection. Everyone has a guardian
angel and, according to Psalm 91, they lift us up so we don't dash our foot against a stone.
ANGELIC AWARENESS BRINGS BREAKTHROUGH
We need to ruthlessly rid ourselves of all the distractions of everyday life that keep us
from real supernatural Christianity. Meditating on the unseen realm and hearing about
this stuff lifts us into a place of walking in the spirit realm.
I live in a place of breakthrough because I am so aware of the angels that I can say,
"Lord, let world-wide evangelistic angels come with me right now. I'm going to Uganda.
Then I'll go to Uganda and they'll give me a press conference and access to every
television station and all the major newspapers in the whole country. I'll go and preach
and have an incredible revival because I say, "God, let the harvest angels come with me.
There are people who are going to inherit salvation. I don't want the Devil and darkness
to prevail over the crusade, so I release the angels right now. I loose them in heaven now
in Jesus name."
ANGELS RELEASE FINANCES
Scripture also speaks of another angel that releases finances. I understand that God will
supply all my need according to His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19). Do you know what that
means? There are riches in glory because the earth is the Lord's and everything in it. He is
the God who supplies our needs according to His riches in glory. The bible even tells us
that the silver and gold are His. So when I need a financial breakthrough I don't just pray
and ask God for my financial breakthrough. I go into intercession and become a partner
with the angels by petitioning the Father for the angels that are assigned to getting me
money:
"Father, give me the angels in heaven right now that are assigned to get me money
and wealth. And let those angels be released on my behalf. Let them go into the four
corners of the earth and gather me money. Let them gather my partners."
We want to push back the demonic forces, so sometimes we need to say,
"Father, let those legions of angels assigned to release financial breakthrough, come
into the earth right now and loose the Devil from the money assigned to me. I call in
that money in the name of Jesus."
