Let us bow our heads and place ourselves in the presence of the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in confidence, asking for Your blessings and
graces, as we are gathered here together to celebrate the Day of the Seafarers.
We wish to thank you and all those who contributed in any way in the fruition of this
event, we realize that without your guidance and help, we could not be able to
succeed with the plans we had for this day. You have clearly showed us how to
conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm. We are of different
departments and agencies, yet we are united for we have the same goals.
We are grateful for this opportunity to honor and thank the Seafarers, for their
dedication to ideals of seafaring services, for their skills of seamanship and
navigation which bring them in safety across the oceans of the world, and for their
personal sacrifices and hard work, providing their family with resources to sustain
their living. Also, we thank the services of the various maritime agencies for their
aid and care rendered to seafarers and their families.

Give the maritime students the desire to pursue their chosen career. Guide them
from the beginning of their studies until they join the growing community of the
maritime industry.

for their helpful contributions in any form by which our lives are sustained.
and for the food, raw materials and manufactured goods by which our lives are n..
For the service of maritime agencies who care for seafarers and their families.
Make them alert and wise in their duties.
Make them faithful in the time of routine, and prompt to decide and courageous to
act in any crisis.

In the cycle of prayer we remember today all the sea. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Almighty God, remember in your love and mercy all who minister in The Mission to
Seafarers. Prosper the work to which they are engaged, enable them faithfully to
preach your word and to fulfil their ministry. May they uphold Christ both by their
word and in their lives. Raise up, we pray, faithful and true people for this work, for

the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. God bless all seafarers. Guard the stormbound; protect their families; and give them peace. Amen.
Lord, bestow your divine wisdom to all of us present here, so that we
You help us work together and encourage each other to give us the desire to find
ways
My Heavenly father, as I enter this workplace I bring your presence with me. I speak your peace,
your grace, your mercy, and your perfect order in this office. I acknowledge your power over all that
will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls.
Lord, I thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your
honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy so that
even my smallest accomplishment may bring you glory.
We are grateful for this opportunity to honor and thank those who will be leaving office; first for
their dedication to the ideals of the Auxiliary, and second for the personal sacrifice made to bring
these ideals to many others. Finally give wisdom, vision, and courage to those who will be our new
leaders. We continue to pray for those members of the Armed Forces that are serving both at home
and abroad and ask for peace in our troubled world. We thank You for Your presence with us and for
the bonds of friendship which will be strengthened.
Lord, when I am confused guide me. When I am burned out infuse me with the light of the Holy
Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in
contact with today.
Loving heavenly Father we come to you this hour asking for your blessing and help as
we are gathered together. We pray for guidance in the matters at hand and ask that you
would clearly show us how to conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm. Give
us the desire to find ways to excel in our work. Help us to work together and encourage
each other to excellence. We ask that we would challenge each other to reach higher
and farther to be the best we can be. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
