Miracles in the Deep South
In April we drove to Louisiana to hold the very first “Fellowship Tea Party”. The Church Ladies of Fellowship Church in
Prairieville, LA invited me (Ronda) down to a tea party and to teach “Prayerwalking” and “Evangelism”. We had a
grand time and I must say, God showed up and showed off during this time. Here is the story….
On Thursday morning, April 8th; we left for a meeting at the North American Mission Board. The sore throat I had for
several days had blossomed and that morning, I felt terrible. I had a prescription of antibiotics that I stuck in my pock-
etbook as we left for our meeting in Alpharetta. I decided to start the medication when we left Hendersonville and I
laid back and rested until right outside of Atlanta. During the rest time I quoted a very familiar Bible verse over and
over, "by His stripes I am healed". When I woke up, I felt 100% better. After the meeting we drove onto LA arriving
about 10PM at our friend, Donna’s home. On Friday we made preparations for the Ladies Tea, caught up with Donna
and the Prairieville news. Later in the afternoon we decorated the church for the Saturday tea party. We were at the
church testing equipment Friday night and to our unbelief the lamp on our projector was not working and a message
code flashed to replace the bulb. Okay, so at 8PM on Friday night, there was a bit of panic, our friend Ed was on the
phone calling some office supply stores, Donna was giving suggestions on what we needed to do and I could tell by
the faraway look in her eyes, she was deeply concerned. Randy had screwdriver in hand trying to see if he could work
on it and then it occurred to us, let's pray over the lamp light. So, Randy, Donna and I stood together and prayed over
the projector lamp. Randy said a very simple prayer, God, please heal our lamp. We put the parts back together, fired
up the computer and the projector and guess what, we had light. The lamp continued to work properly throughout the
class and is working today. Okay, so we are praising the Lord and giving testimony to 2 miracles that have oc-
curred. During a break time on Saturday, I was talking with a very sweet lady named Pat, a transplant patient, who
had been battling bronchitis since December. She had recently gone to the doctor, received a new medicine which
did not seem to be working. and had not been able to live without inhalers. The Holy Spirit lead us to pray for her and
so with her permission at the end of the class, we all gathered around and prayed over her. It was a very sweet time
of prayer and to see all the ladies gathered around their Christian sister was such a blessing. The following Sunday
morning Pat found us in church and for the first time since December, she could take a deep breath and had no inhal-
ers that morning. So, miracle number 3. Ladies and gentlemen, I submit to you, God truly showed up and showed out
for the tea party. We felt His presence so strong in our class that by the end, we were all in tears and everyone's face
was glowing. WOW!! To finish the story of the lady named Pat, when she went to the doctor the next week, the doctor
told Pat he could not explain it but the x-ray that showed a mass in the bottom of her lung was no longer there. What
can I say but WE REJOICE that our Father God is still in the miracle business!

Where we are….
We are going on our fourth year as Mission Service Corps Missionaries serving with the
Adult Volunteer Mobilization Team at the North American Mission Board. Our primary assign-
ment is to mobilize volunteers in evangelism by equipping, encouraging, and challenging
them to be “Fishers of Men” as they serve. We are a faith based ministry and our support
comes through churches and individuals who choose to partner with us. We believe that God
“To many called us to this ministry and that He will provide our daily needs. We are 15K away from rais-

no longer We thank God for each of you who are faithful to pray for us as we teach, travel, and serve.
It means so much to know that you are covering us in prayer. God has also blessed us with
Fishers of Men, many people who have a heart for reaching the lost and support our ministry with one time
gifts or on a monthly basis. We thank God for you and the financial support that enables us to

team. If you would like to make a donation; gifts can be made payable to the North American
Paul Harvey Mission Board at NAMB-MSC, PO Box 116543, Atlanta, GA 30368-6543. Please include our
