Rally That time again, this month has just flown with so much happening.
Sat 22nd Adult Riders Rally Kicking off with our very impressive Life Members rally last month - 64
Fri 28th Spud and Fire Night Huntingfield riders!! It was fantastic to see so many of our members, their families
and our past members as well as our supporters turning up for what
Sun 30th Super Schools Championship DAT at TEC was a great rally. Thanks again to Ann White for her wonderful lunch
STATE GAMES efforts yet again. Also I just want to reiterate that we are so lucky to
have people like Liz, Gibbo and Julie who have given up their time for

journey as she gets ready to head off on her big overseas adventure.
Hopefully you will keep us up to date with your travel news and will
come and visit when you get back (and can we please keep your
Mum!!)
Also a farewell to Bec Roberts who is also unfortunately leaving us
after a number of years in the club due to other commitments. It was
great to see you at the games and hope you will still manage to come
along and support the club from time to time.
Hope I have managed to remember it all, sorry if I have forgotten
anything but hopefully I will be seeing you all on the 16th.

From the President
Thanks you to all those riders who turned out so smart at the last Rally
for our Life members. We had a possible record of 64 riders riding on
the day and you all did your club proud! Life Members is a day where
we invite all our Life Members and other people like past DC’s etc who
have given so much to the club to see how the Club is going and to
demonstrate that all their work and effort in years gone by have not
been wasted and the Huntingfield continues to grow from strength to
strength. A special thank you to Anne White who yet again put on a
superb spread for morning tea.
Committee at their last meeting, after many years of discussion,
resolved that the monthly newsletter will be also placed on the club web
site for downloading. Members will continue however to receive a hard
copy of their newsletter in the mail.

LOST. A small Energiser “Hard case” torch. This was misplaced at the
conclusion of the recent Schools Event in the vicinity of the shed. Also
lost on the Saturday before the Schools was a key to the Club
grounds. It is on a yellow tag with HPRC President” on it. It was last
seen in the padlock to the shed. Please see Lex if you have found
either of these items.

New Members
They just keep coming from far and wide! Welcome to New
Member Ellie Lane and the dream pony Shay. Shay is the beautiful
dark grey pony with the halo above his ears. Welcome to Stephanie
Todd and her happy appy called Cassie. I saw them just the other day
galloping down Leslie Road. Not sure who was in control but Stephanie
was still smiling. Go Stephanie! Welcome to Olivia Smith who
attended her first rally on a borrowed Huntingfield horse as her horse
Philemon was a reluctant loader at the float. They have since sorted First up we would like to mention that our Doggy Olympics (yes we

We are having out parents and friends fun day ODE again in
July. This is a great fun day where your kids can play strapper
and realise what the parents have to do for us at all our events,
and a great chance for the parents to compete. We have non
riding classes and riding classes, best costume, tests with canter

Huntingfield Spud and Fire Night

Where: Club Grounds from 6pm
Cost: $5 per person covers cost of filled jacket potato which will
be hot and available from about 6-30pm.

Good chance to celebrate start of the school holidays. It is also a
full moon so could be interesting!!!
Libby Shea is organising this event and needs a few helpers,
some salads and desserts so if you can assist please let her

Pony Club Schoolmaster
Neika Pia is a well known pony club horse, a member of Huntingfield
for the last 6 years and Monmouth Pony Club for 6 years before that.
She is 15hh Bay, 18 y.o, EA registered Welsh Cob X Thoroughbred.
Sire: Sydenham Hawfinch, Dam: Barwidgee Tamarisk. She is an ideal
first horse for a rider ready to move up from a pony. She has competed
to Grade3 ODE and is a confident show jumper (having competed and
won up to 85Cm), brave at cross country and with scores in the mid to
high 60s in Preliminary and Novice dressage. She has had regular
lessons with Liz Elliot for the last 6 years.
She is currently in light work as her owner has moved on to a larger
horse. Pia is an excellent doer requiring no supplementary feeding.
She is easy to catch, shoe, float etc.
Comes with rugs, bridle and saddle (if required).
