amendment made. The Head of Panel asked

4.0

Highly Immersive Programme (HIP)

4.1 A briefing will be conducted on Monday, 25 th All English Language
July at 12.30 pm to introduce this programme to all teachers
academic and non-academic staffs of SMK
Sebuyau. This briefing will serve to explain as
simple as possible on this programme before
proceeding on conducting a school event. Briefing
is to be done by Mr Ibrahim who will be assisted by
Madam Suzana.
4.2 A complete evaluation and analysis on the
level of immersiveness in this school shall be
conducted by teachers via questionnaire that can be
found in the HIP toolkit. There are 4 fundamental
factors that must be involved; the principal, the
parents, the teachers and the students. Below are the
division of duties among teachers on the

4.3 Supporting activities for HIP are to be held in All English Language
this school and it is divided into 4 categories as teachers

The above activities must be held within this
academic year to calculate on the level of
immersiveness and at the same time, to promote the
wide usage of English language in the district of
Sebuyau.

5.0

Language Month; a joint venture with IPG KBL

Kuching, Sarawak
5.1 English Day will be held on 04th August, All English Language
Thursday. Many activities will be conducted to teachers
promote the usage of English language among
students and community. The activities are
Poem Recitation, Public Speaking and Karaoke
Singing
Competition. The first
two
competitions are divided into 2 categories;
Lower Form and Upper Form. Meanwhile, the
latter would be put under Open Category
which expects some public to join and to
compete. Teachers are to promote these
activities among students and community and
to get names of participants before 01 st August
2016.
5.2 All English Language teachers have been
assigned to certain duties. Teachers may refer
to the paperwork that is with Mr Othna to
check on job specification.

School Magazine
6.1 Teachers are encouraged to contribute to the All English Language
production of annual school magazine in terms of teachers
written piece. Teachers are also reminded to
advertise the magazine to the students so that they
may be able to contribute as well. Submission of
any written material may be done through Senior
Assistant 1.

7.0

Other matter
7.1 PT3 and SPM Extra classes
All English Language
7.1.1 SPM extra classes are to be held on every teachers
Monday at 8:00 p.m, starting 18th July 2016. It
is aimed to help students in preparing
themselves in the most important English
paper in secondary school.
7.1.2 PT3 extra classes (second phase) will be held
after Annual Sports of SMK Sebuyau. Teachers
have been recruited voluntarily and they are
promised to be paid. Dates of these extra
classes will be informed later.
