Activities

Understand and respond to oral texts in a variety of contexts.

Recognize different types and descriptions of different insects.

: 1) Asking some possible questions that related to the topic given.

2) Explains about the parts of the insects through the LCD projectors.
3) Asks pupils to label the parts of the insects correctly with the picture that displayed on
the whiteboard.
4) Randomly choose the pupils to read and spell the words correctly and asks the pupils
to follow.
5) Pupils need to complete the worksheet that distributed by the teacher.
6) Teacher discusses the answers and before end the class, teacher revises back the
topic of the day that they have learned.

Reflection:
By the end of the lesson, 90% of the pupils were able to label out all the parts of the insects in the worksheet
given. There were 10% of the pupils were make some mistakes in their worksheet however after discussed the
answers, they realised what they had mistaken in their work. Overall, the teaching and learning process was quite
successful and most of the pupils have developed some knowledge about the parts of the insects that given. Besides
that, the weakness in this lesson was the drilling of the parts of the insects as I think I need to give more drilling with
the pupils in order to make them to understand more and could memorize well the parts of the insects and able to
label it out in the future.
