the absence.
5. Students are expected to respect each other, the professor and learning environment
during class. All cell phones must be turned off during class.
6. Course is evaluated for 50 marks for 3 internals and for 20 marks of the other
components.
7. For the 10 marks of the other components the students may be picked randomly in
every class and asked questions on the topics that have been taught in the previous
class for a minimum of 2 marks.
8. If the student fails to answer the questions asked then he/she will be rewarded zero
marks for that date.
9. The other 10 marks are reserved for the Team Assignment on a mobile operating
system.
10. The 10 marks will be split as per the rubrics mentioned below:

Voice Modulation during Presentation

2 Marks

Body Language and Stage Presence

2 Marks

Clarity of answering queries raised

2 Marks

Contribution to Materials Gathering and Slide Preparation

4 Marks

11. If the student(s) fail to present the Team Assignment on the day of submission they
will be rewarded zero marks and their attendance for that day will be marked as
ABSENT.
12. If the student(s) have a genuine reason for not presenting the Team Assignment they
can approach the faculty for the extension of their deadline.

Justification of COs

With the basic knowledge of computer networks and data communication, the basics
of mobile networks are studied thereby satisfying the PO a.

The concept of mobile network layer and transport layer are studied by specifying
their details and thus satisfying PO b.

The database hoarding techniques and data dissemination techniques are learnt so
that the data can be analyzed and disseminated properly thereby satisfying PO b.

Data synchronization protocols for mobile devices are imbibed along with the
platforms for mobile operating systems so as to satisfy the PO b.

A group activity is carried out to determine the benefits of the various mobile
operating systems and produce a report on the activity thereby satisfying PO i, PO j.
