(a) Electronics jobs are the wave of the future, offering a professional and
rewarding career with competitive pay.
(b) By choosing Electronics, you are opening doors to a fulfilling career in an
ever expanding industry sector.
Would you like to be a part of an exciting and dynamic field that is the evolution of the future? From
the present day iPhone to our orbiting GPS satellites, electronics are a big part of our modern world,
continuously shaping the future and our lives.
The Electronics Engineering Technology program unfolds your passion for electronics. You will enjoy
hands-on activities and hands-on learning, while working with electronics and technology. Are you
fascinated by today's technological gadgets and enjoy learning how they work? Does it spark your
interest to take apart the toaster just to see if you can put it together again? For the innovative
thinker, the problem solver, the explorer with an inquisitive mind, the electronics program is your
journey to an exciting career.
By choosing Electronics, you are opening doors to:
The choice of working after College OR pursuing an M.Tech or PhD degree in university.
The Electronics Engineering Technology program will give you a strong foundation in the theory and
practice of electronics, with the necessary skill set to succeed in the work force after you graduate.
You will learn how electronic components work and how to build cool and useful
stuff with them. Among the many specializations, you will also learn to diagnose faulty systems. After
completing the program, you can start working immediately with confidence with knowledge and
skill. Your expertise will be in great demand. Be prepared to work in a growing and dynamic field
when you start your career as an Electronics Technologist.
everywhere, in industry, business and in our homes. New positions are opening up as we speak.
New possibilities are created daily as the world of electronics evolves.
1.The laws of nature (e.g., Maxwell's equations for electromagnetics, Kirchhoff's Rules
for circuit analysis) are mathematical expressions. Mathematics is the language of
physical science and engineering.
2.Mathematics is more than a tool for solving problems; mathematics courses can
develop intellectual maturity.
3.Computers do not make traditional mathematical analysis obsolete!
(a). (First, computer programs contain mathematical relations; understanding these
relations is still necessary.
(b). Second, debugging computer programs is a difficult art. One of the best ways to
validate a program is to compare the computer simulation to the analytical solution for
the same situation. Knowledge of traditional mathematical analysis is essential for this
method of validating computer programs.
(c ). Third, it is relatively easy to write brute-force computer code that requires a long
runtime and produces significant error, owing to accumulation of errors from the limited
resolution of machine numbers. Great increases in both speed and accuracy can be
obtained by using analytical solutions for parts of the problem, or by careful
development of appropriate algorithms.
