1. The table below gives information about the underground railway

systems in six cities
The information about the underground railway systems in 6 cities, namely London,
Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto, and Los Angeles is given in the table. The data in the table
are classified into three categories. They are date opened, kilometers of route, and passengers per
year.
To begin with, London is the first city to start the subway followed by Paris and Tokyo,
and the most recent one is Los Angeles. As London is the oldest, it also has the longest track.
Kyoto, however, which is not the youngest underground railway, turns out to have the shortest
trail and the fewest passengers by only 45 millions of people per year. The length gap between
London and Kyoto is quite yawning for about 383 kilometers. Surprisingly, Tokyo, in which
commences the tube 64 years after London becomes the busiest subway with almost 2 billion
commuters annually.
To recapitulate, there is no linear or direct correlation between all the three categories.
2. The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by
a particular UK school in 1981, 1991, and 2001.
The alternations in yearly budget spent by a particular UK school by a ten-year gap in
1981, 1991, and 2001 are compared in the pie charts. They classify the school spending into five
categories, namely insurance, teachers salaries, furniture and equipment, resources, and other
workers salaries
In general, the biggest amount of money used by the school was for teachers salaries
especially in 1991 when it took up half of the total expense, while the smallest one was for
insurance. Its rather insignificant proportion, however, gradually rose approximately by 5 % in
thirty years. Unlike insurance, other school salaries experienced a considerable fall in 2001 by
13% from 28% to 15%. In other aspects such as in resources as well as furniture and equipment,
the allocation of funds was fluctuative.
We can conclude that teachers welfare is the top priority of the school and the the aThey
varied by following the schools needs. Nevertheless, the Teachers Salaries still had the largest
consideration. Especially in 1991, the Teachers Salaries reached the biggest percentage. For
about 50% of schools money was used to pay the teacher.

We can assume from the data that the school is still prioritize Teachers Salaries than the
other categories.
3. The graph below shows the number of complaints made about noise to
Environmental Health authorities in the city of Newtown between 1980 and
end 1996.
The number of complaints made about noise to environmental health authorities in the city of
Newtown between 1980 and 1996is shown by the graph.
Overall, the movements of Traffic Works and Domestics Household showed upward trends,
while Road Works indicated a declined and Factories remained stable. Started from 1980,
Traffic Works and Domestics Household moved constantly. On the other hand, Road Works fell,
otherwise Factories rose. In the year of 1986 all of them were surged, except Factories. But the
grievances were sky rocket in 1988 for both Traffic Noise and Domestics Household. The
Factories still showed no changes until 1996. But the Road Works went to plummet in the same
year. The most disturbing noise was produced from Traffic Noise and the fewest one were Road
Works. The gap was more than 1000 complaints.
In summary, the number of complaints of Traffic number grew rapidly as many as the increasing
of the number of vehicles.
4. The graph below shows the proportion of the population aged 65 and over
between 1940 and 2040 in three different countries.
The proportion of the elderly people population aged 65 and over from 1940 to 2040 in Japan,
Sweden, and USA is shown in the line graph.
Overall, all the three countries show upward trends. In 1940, Japan was initially the lowest
compared to USA and Sweden. But it is projected to dominate the number of elders reaching up
to 27% in one century later. USA is predicted to be the lowest in number of approximately 23%.
USA and Sweden had the same movement between 1940 and 1990 by only 5% gap, before
Sweden started to markedly increase, while USA continued to plateu by 2000. Exceptionally
Japan, only indicated a slight changes in spite of its significant difference from USA and Sweden
for about 15% across the periods.
In short, the Japans graph of population growth is predicted to be steeper with huge number of
old people in century.
