Know all men by these Presents that we Ebenezer [Smith and] Nancy his wife of Bloomfield Oakland
County and Territory of Michigan in consideration of One hundred dollars to us paid by Allen M Parks
of the county and Territory aforesaid the receipt whereof we do hereby [acknowl]edge do by these
presents give grant bargain bargain [sic] sell and [convey unto] the said Allen M. Parks his heirs and
assigns forever all that [certain piece] or parcel of land known and distinguished by being the West half
of the North East quarter of section Thirty three in township Two North of Range Nine East in the
district of Detroit according to the official plat of the survey of said land returned to the General land office
by the Surveyor General which said parcel of land was purchased of the United States consisting of
Eighty acres be the same more or less

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances the above described piece or parcel
of land belonging or in any will appertaining--. To have and to hold the above granted premises to the
said Allen M. Parks and to his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof [forever] And we the said
parties of the first part for ourselves and our heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said
Allen M Parks his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that
they are free and clear from all incumbrances that we had good right to convey and sell the same to the
said Allen M. Parks as aforesaid and that we will and our heirs executors and administrators shall Warrant
and Defend the same to the said Allen M. Parks his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful demands
of all persons

In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the twenty third day of June in the
Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty nine

Oakland County } ss. On this 23d day of June AD 1829 came before the undersigned a Justice
of the Peace in and for said County the within n[amed] Ebenezer F Smith and Nancy his wife known to
me to be the persons [within] described and who executed the within deed and acknowledges that they
execute the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said Nancy being by me carefully
examined seperate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed same without any
threat fear or compulsion of her husband or any other person
