Know all men by these Presents that Robert Parks and Polly his wife of the Town of Troy and Oakland
County in consideration of the sum of One hundred & forty dollars to them paid by Betsey Webster the
wife of Calvin P Webster of the Town of Bloomfield and Oakland County the receipt whereof we do
hereby acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Betsey
Webster her heirs and assigns a certain parcel of land situate in the Town of Bloomfield County of
Oakland bounded and described as follows viz: So being known as the East half of the North Eat
quarter of section numbered twelve of Township numbered two North Range Ten East in the district
of Detroit containing Eighty acres being the same piece parcel or tract of land which was purchased by
Robert Parks from the government of the United States as appears by the patent of the said United
States bearing date on the third day of February the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
twenty four

Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said land in any wise appertaining and
belonging To have and to hold the above granted premises to the said Betsey Webster her heirs and
assigns to her and their use and behoof forever And they the said Robert Parks and wife for themselves,
heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said Betsey Webster her heirs and assigns that
they are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that
they have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Betsey Webster as aforesaid and that they
will and their heirs executors and administrators shall Warrant and Defend the same to the said Betsey
Webster her heirs and assigns forever against the lawful demands of all persons.

In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this seventeenth day of March in the
Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty one

Oakland County } ss. Be it remembered that on this seventeenth day of March AD 1831 before
the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid Came Robert Parks and Polly his
wife to me personly [sic] known to be the persons within described and who executed the within deed and
severally acknowledged that they executed it for the uses and purposes therein mentioned—And the said
Polly being by me examined separate [sic] and apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed
the within deed freely and voluntarily without any threat fear or compulsion of her said husband or any
other person.
