OCVS follows the Orange County Public School calendar, so you are not required
to work during the holiday weeks. As a virtual student, you have access to your
online courses 24/7 and you are encouraged to work during these weeks,
especially if you are behind pace. The holiday weeks for this school year are:
November 23rd-27th for Thanksgiving Break, December 21st-January 1st for
Winter Break, and March 21st-25th for Spring Break.

Module 1 (Believe):
The student will predict how healthy behaviors can affect health status.

Module 2 (See):
The student will explain skills needed to communicate effectively with family, peers,
and others to enhance health, predict how healthy behaviors can affect health
status, and examine barriers that can hinder healthy decision making.

Module 3 (Achieve):
The student will demonstrate strategies to prevent, manage, or resolve interpersonal
conflicts without harming self or others, and analyze the validity of ways to ask for
and offer assistance to enhance the health of self and others.
Module 4 (Grow):
The student will assess refusal, negotiation, and collaboration skills to enhance
health and avoid or reduce health risks.

Module 5 (Fly):
The student will appraise the potential short-term and long-term outcomes of each
alternative on self and others, interpret the interrelationships of mental/emotional,
intellectual, physical, and social health, as well as evaluate reports based on data.
