Summary: The novel opens with the first chapter called, The Boy Who Lived.
Harry Potter was called The Boy Who Lived because he was the only one known of
surviving the Killing Curse or the Avada Kedavra. Especially as it was conjured by a
very powerful drak wizard called Voldemort. Her mother and father died protecting
him thats why he was sent to the doorstep of the Dursleys, the only family Harry
has left. He was kept by the Durselys til he was ten years old not knowing anything
about the Wizarding world, not knowing he was very famous there. The Dursleys
did everything to keep him from the Wizarding world for the past 10 years . But it
was until the owls sent him his Hogwarts letters. They managed to keep Harry from
reading the letter but soon failed when Rubeus Hagrid, Hogwarts gamekeeper
personally fetch and informed Harry about his true identity on his 11 th birthday.
Harry couldnt believe it but he realized that it was the reason why he can do things
a mere human couldnt. After a month or so, he went to the Kings Cross to finally
go to the said Wizard school. There he met The Weasleys who helped him get to
Platfrom 9 . There in Hogwarts Express, he met Hermione Granger and Neville
Longbottom. He was then sorted to the Gryffindor house and then played Quidditch
for their house making him the youngest Quidditch player in the century as
Professor McGonagall noticed he had a potential to be seeker. He met a lot of
friends from their house and also met his archnemesis named Draco Malfoy from
House Slytherin and his least favorite teacher, Severus Snape teaching Potions and
also the Head Teacher of House Slytherin. Harry soon developed a very close
friendship with Ron and Hermione. They studied and had also their ups and downs.
The three found out about the Philosophers stone and they knew that somebody
was going to steal it. They investigated and picked up some information about it.
The three had their primary suspect, Snape. But it was then proved wrong when
Harry, Ron, and Hermione went out that night to catch the culprit. It was their
stuttering Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher, Professor Quirrel. Turns out he
was doing it for Lord Voldemort to make him immortal as the stone can produce
elixir of life and can turn any metal into gold. Quirrel failed because of the trio. At
the end part, they attended the end-of-the-year banquet. The Slytherin house was
all celebrating knowing that they have the greatest point out of the three other
houses. Unexpectedly, Dumbledore awards last-minute points to Harry, Ron,
Hermione, and Neville, which gives Gryffindor the edge over Slytherin. Harry
considers it to be the best night of his life and returns to spend the summer with the
Dursleys content in the friendships that he has made at Hogwarts.

Moral lessom/learningss: They triumphed at the end because Harry Potter was
brave. He also valued friendship above all. He had loyalty to Dumbledore.
