A. BASIC COMPETENCE:
Comprehend the meaning of announcement text in the right context in
order to be able to apply it in a real life.
B. LEARNING AIM:
Students are able to comprehend and apply the use of announcement text
based on any possible contexts.
C. LEARNING MATERIAL:
An oral announcement text at the airport and a written
announcement text at school. The following is the announcement
read by teacher:
Ladies and gentlemen, we will shortly be landing at Juanda
international airport in Surabaya. The local time now is 7.10 PM.
Surabaya time is one hour behind Makassar time. Please fasten your
seatbelt; put your seatback in the upright position; lock the front
table securely; and make sure the window shield is up.
