Models are available for the processing of beverages such as


fruit juices, still drinks, nectars (up to 20cP), as well as teas, and
in models for filling to aseptic cartons as well as aseptic or
hot-filled PET bottles.

Tetra Therm Aseptic Drink 1 features automated control of


processing parameters to safeguard production under aseptic
conditions. The easy-to-understand operator panel helps
minimize the risk of operator error and ensure consistent product quality. The process operations are pre-sterilization, aseptic water circulation (or the optional aseptic energy hibernation
mode) and production.

Food safety

All models feature product-to-product heat recovery.

Prior to production, the unit is sterilized. In the time gap between pre-sterilization and production, the unit runs in the
aseptic water circulation mode. If the optional aseptic energy
hibernation (AEH) is selected, however, this is a water stand-by
mode that cuts energy consumption by up to 90% compared
to aseptic water circulation.

Conductivity switch

In production mode, the product comes to the balance tank


before it is pumped by the frequency-controlled product feed
pump and then regeneratively pre-heated in a heat exchanger. It may then be fed to an optional deaerator and/or homogenizer. Alternatively, the product may be fed directly to the
final heating section of the heat exchanger, where it is heated
to its pasteurization temperature. The product is kept at the
pasteurization temperature for the required time in the holding tube, and then brought to the filling temperature. We use
an electromagnetic flow meter to get repeatability in our filling
and emptying stages.
