We have released (NOT OFFICIAL RELEASE) this demo in order to implement support for
batteries based on M37512 chip.
Support for M37512 firmware up to F200 only.
Usage:
1. Replace cells with 470 ohm resistors.
2 Connect pins 12, 9 and 43 of M37512 together.
3. Connect power.
4. Read M37512 DataFlash.

Here is new version of BE2Works Demo.
Now full dump is saved.
Total dump size is 53248 bytes.
Read/Write operations are about 55 seconds with verification.
Dump structure:
Block B offset = 0000h /Dynamic battery data
Block A offset = 0800h /Dynamic battery data
Block 3 offset = 1000h /Program area
Block 2 offset = 5000h /Program area
Block 1 offset = 9000h /Static battery data
Block 0 offset = B000h /Program area

The software reads whole memory of M37512 to implement dump files compatibility.
Dump file structure must be equal for all the batteries.
Demo version is Read-Only.
In full version you can rewrite each block individually.
See the screenshot .
Also we'll implement One-Push-Reset function for known batteries.

Thanks for sending me 2.85 for testing.
I have a question.
One-Push-Rset is not implemented yet.
Any tips and clues on how to fix batteries based on M37512 with BE2Works 2.85 version?

Hmmm........
Actually you can start fixing the batteries without waiting for Reset function.
1. Always save the original dump before you start fixing M37512.
2. You can fix many batteries just simply rewriting blocks B and A with FF.
How ?
Just choose M37512 in chip menu. Newly created buffer is filled with FF. You need just press
Write button and check B and A check boxes then proceed writing.
3. If the method above doesn't help then you need to find dump from the similar but working
battery and rewrite blocks B and A with it.
4. If the methods above don't work but your donor battery is exactly the same as recipient then

you can refill whole DataFlash.

But you must to remember that in this case you'll loose board offset calibration and
measurements will be less accurate.
Also you must to remember that M37512 DataFlash has only 1000 rewrite cycles for blocks B
and A and only 100 rewrite cycles for blocks 0,1,2 and 3.
Try not to exceed the limits.

If your battery has SYSTEM_PRESENT pin then connect it to GND to open FETs.

We have implemented One-Push-Reset function for some batteries based on this chip in new
BE2Works 3.00 (Cavite) USB version.
