The Tiefling was found in a forest nearby a town with


deep roots and advancements thanks to the Arcane.
An albino skinned Tiefling baby with four eternal
horns, 2 on each side of his head, with sphere that
held an enclosed, mysterious black flower was found
beside him. He was raised by a half-elf and a halfling,
both of which were not fully accepted into society for
dwelling in both worlds as one existence. The two,
with the best chance for Elezen in mind, decided it'd
be best for the child to pursue life as one of the more
'acceptable' races: A human. One of the more scarring
moments of his life that he would relive over and over
again started at a young age where he had his horns
cut and filed to be hidden -- this continued until
adulthood since it was rather convenient, but more
than that it served as a reminder of how ugly people
can really be or become. Though he had talent for
magic, those who took him under their arm wanted
him to blend in further in society so they taught him
the way of the Ranger. However, his treasured Flower
beckoned him to the ways of the arcane at every
given moment, as if he was being enticed by a greater
force. It wasn't until he was discovered by a
noteworthy Sage that he began to find the coaxing of
the flower to become less and less prominent.
Elezen's prodigious affinity towards the arcane
sparked the interest of this Sage and found it quite
rewarding in tutoring the curious young Tiefling and
watching the floret's efflorescence into an ardent and
proficient Wizard. Though it was his more practiced
and favored class, the young Tiefling kept up with his
Ranger training to blend in better with society, easily
being accepted into Wizarding Schools compared to if
he was found as a Tiefling with demon blood running
through his veins. Years under his belt with a Ranger
background helped him hide his true nature as a
Wizard, inheriting the two Hand Crossbows he grew
up training with in exchange for the regular Arcane
user's staff. Information and knowledge was never
much of a problem for him to annex, using both his
charm and wits even against fellow practitioners of the
Arcane art much to his Master's chagrin. His main
drive? To uncover the mystery of the Black Flower
and how significant its connection was to him as well
as the power it held that insinuated to have come from
a different plane of existence.
CHARACTER BACKSTORY

When you attempt to learn or recall a piece of lore, if you do not know that information, you often
know where and from whom you can obtain it. Usually, this information comes from a library,
scriptorium, university, or a sage or other learned person or creature.
Feat: Crossbow Expert [Background]
Thanks to extensive practice with the crossbow, you gain the following benefits:
You ignore the loading quality o f crossbows with which you are proficient.
Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesnt impose disadvantage on your ranged attack
rolls.
When you use the Attack action and attack with a one-handed weapon, you can use a bonus
action to attack with a loaded hand crossbow you are holding.
He has 2 pairs of eternal style horns so 4 in total
Horns have been cut and eventually filed down with constant care and is hidden underneath
tufts of hair
His tail is usually wrapped around his body from within his clothing
Fond of flowers and usually has them as components and combines them with his bolts
Grinds up white flower dye for his hair
When he uses magic, 1st Level or higher, the dye dissipates and reveals his natural Raven
colored hair
ADDITIONAL FEATURES & TRAITS

A black, ominous Flower: It's locked in a minute magical


sphere that acts as his focus. It blossoms into what seems like
lights from the heavens whenever he casts spells.
The two Hand Crossbows: They may seem simple, and albeit
useless to him as a Wizard, the weapons hold sentimental value
as well as a fine garnish to them with his own customized
engravings.
