General Guidelines

All participants; coaches and spectators shall refrain from using


profanity or verbal abuse towards other players, coaches, spectators,
referees and the tournament staff.
This is a Drug and Alcohol Free Event. No alcoholic beverages or drugs
are allowed on the premises. Any coach or player(s) engaged in the
use of alcohol or drugs will be disqualified from further participation in
the tournament.
Team coaches will be responsible for the conduct of their players.
Teams and spectators shall abide by the tournament rules and
regulations.
No food or beverages are allowed in the gymnasium. Only water and
sport drinks will be permitted.
The Tournament manager and the athletics council and students
council are not responsible for any personal items that are left behind,
lost or stolen.
School Varsities are allowed to join the competition.
Any player or team who fails to appear in the playing court/area 10
minutes after the scheduled time will be declared loser by default.
Athlete is allowed to warm up only in the area designated.
Tournament manager should report to sports coordinator any untoward
incidents during the game.
All teams are required to entry in all events. Failure not to do so, mean
point deduction for each event. 300 PTS.
Awardees must wear their athletic uniform during the awarding
ceremony.
Any protest shall be made in writing to the general ref. who will
endorse it to Pre Jury of appeals. Protest will be entertained only before
the announcement of official results.
Official result shall be submitted to the tournament manager
immediately after every event.
Schedule of Games will be published/ posted on the bulletin board for
reference purposes.

SYSTEM OF TOURNAMENT
The system of tournament shall be bracket system in all team
sports.
Straight elimination shall be followed in individual event.
Swiss elimination shall be followed in board games.
Point system will be adapted to award the winners.
Fighting is an attempt to strike an opponent with the arms,
hands, legs, feet or a combative action by one or more
players, a coach or other team personnel. Any member or
team personnel who participate in a fight shall be
immediately suspended from the game for the duration to be
determined by the Tournament Director and their Associates.
Length of suspension will be assessed on an individual basis
and may be up to six months in duration.

Let it be known that spectators and visitors who too elect to


involve themselves in a fight during a game, will be
suspended from the facility for a length of time to be
determined by the Tournament Director and their Associates.
Absence of students during the competition substitution of
the faculty team will be done. (LARO NG LAHI ONLY)

OVER-ALL CHAMPION
The scoring system to determine the over-all champion in the
PASIKLAB will be based on the following numerical values:
