About ELA 6

Our class covers the areas of communication skills, including research,

vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and presentation skills. Topics
covered include narrative, informational, and argumentative writing, as well as
the writing process, grammar, and punctuation. Students will also be engaged
in reading a wide variety of novels and text types throughout the school year.
Students will be assessed on the ELA 6 standards multiple times throughout
the year, and reassessments can be scheduled before or after school.
