Guidelines:

Be prepared for class when the bell rings by having materials out and your attention
directed to the front board.
Foul language is not representative of an intelligent person or of the culture we
want to create in our classroom, therefore a first offense will receive a warning and
a second offensive will receive additional vocabulary homework to improve your
diction.
Hand written assignments must be written in blue and black pen only, so please
make sure to bring one to each class.
If you are absent it is YOUR responsibility to come see me to pick up the items you
missed.
No food or drinks in class except for water. (If you have an existing condition, please
provide a doctors note or letter signifying that the school acknowledges that
condition.)
Our classroom is not a dumping ground or punching bag, be respectful and gentle
with it, as well as all items in it.
Use bathrooms during your breaks. All bathroom emergencies will be considered
based on classwork progress or additional practice problems. (If you have an
existing condition, please provide a doctors note or letter signifying that the school
acknowledges that condition.)
No late work will be accepted past the end of each unit. If you are absent
you will have the total number of days you were absent in extended time to make
up and turn in the assignment. Also, if you have an I.E.P. which acknowledges
extended time as part of your accommodations that extra time will given for each
assignment.
