Whatdothefollowingtechnologieshaveincommon:robotsthatcannavigatespaceandperformduties,searchenginesthatcanindexbillions
ofimagesandvideos,algorithmsthatcandiagnosemedicalimagesfordiseases,orsmartcarsthatcanseeanddrivesafely?Lyinginthe
heartofthesemodernAIapplicationsarecomputervisiontechnologiesthatcanperceive,understandandreconstructthecomplexvisual
world.ComputerVisionisoneofthefastestgrowingandmostexcitingAIdisciplinesintodaysacademiaandindustry.Thiscourseisdesigned
toopenthedoorsforstudentswhoareinterestedinlearningaboutthefundamentalprinciplesandimportantapplicationsofcomputervision.
Duringthe10weekcourse,wewillintroduceanumberoffundamentalconceptsincomputervision.Wewillexposestudentstoanumberof
realworldapplicationsthatareimportanttoourdailylives.Moreimportantly,wewillguidestudentsthroughaseriesofwelldesignedprojects
suchthattheywillgettoimplementafewinterestingandcuttingedgecomputervisionalgorithms.
