Go to Transaction SHD0.

Specify User group name for which you want to restrict the access to the transaction.

Go to Transaction variants tab.

Specify transaction code, and transaction variant name. Name of transaction variant
should be combination of usergroup and Transaction code.

Click on New (create)button.

Click on save button (you can click on any button)

It will start displaying each screen with pop up window. If you dont want the screen to
get recorded, just uncheck copy settings field.
Once you reach the required screen, specify short text and select required field with
output only tick.
Click on on exit and save
Then give short text to Variant and save

And assign package.

Then you can see following screen

You can find the required field is grayed out.

Go to following screen. To add users to the user group specify user and click on Assign
button

Then click on Set proposal button.

Then check the transaction with the user id for which you this transaction variant is
assigned. Only for those users, that field gets grayed out
