Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 2.0 ton

(6000Kcal/Hr) ABS split type Air conditioner conforming
to IS 1391(part-2) 1992 with Amdt No.1 fitted with
hermetically sealed Air compressor operating on
Refrigerant R-22 suitable for wall mounting for operation
on 230V, 50Hz single phase AC supply with star rating
of 3 as per BIS specification and capable of performing
1) Cooling 2) Dehumidifying 3) Air circulating 4)
Filtering.
The installation works for the above split type A.C units
includes the following.
1. Mounting / Fitting indoor and outdoor units at their
respective locations.
2. Laying refrigerant pipe line of required length within
6meters distance and connecting both units after drilling
hole/holes in the wall if required. Thickness of the copper
tubing shall not be less than 0.8mm.
3. Insulation the suction pipe with expanded polythene
foam tubing.
4. Laying drain pipe to throw out the condensate water
being formed in the indoor unit.
5. Leak testing the entire system unit.
6. Charging refrigerant gas in the unit.
7. Suitable electric wiring to be provided with 2.5 sqmm
PVC insulated copper wire between indoor and outdoor
units upto 6 mts length and upto switch with in 3meters of
location of indoor unit (Carrier / Voltas / LG / eqt) (as
approved by Engineer in Chief(Buildings) vide letter
no.AEE/ T6/26632-B/2012 dated 15.04.2013)
Supply and installation of 5 KVA electronic automatic
voltage stabilizer V-guard make model VGS 400
/Sakthi/equi with input range of 170V- 270V and output
voltage range 200V to 240V with high and low voltage cut
off and 3 minutes time delay.(V-Guard/eq)

Est. Rs. 2,50,000/This estimate has been prepared for an LS amount of Rs.2,50,000/- allotted for the
Provision of AC units in Conference Hall and Data Processing Centre in District Industries
Centre at Thoothukudi in Thoothukudi District administratively sanctioned vide G.O.(D), 7
micro, small and medium Enterprises Department dated 17.01.2013and technically sanctioned
for Rs.125.00 Lakhs vide CER. No. 64 CE MDU / 2012-13 by the Chief Engineer (Buildings),
PWD, Madurai Region, Madurai-2.
In this estimate 5 nos of 2 TR Split AC units are proposed for the Conference Hall and
Data Processing Centre in District Industries Centre at Thoothukudi in Thoothukudi District.
The rates adopted in this estimate are based on standard schedule of rates for the year
2013-14.
The expenditure due to this estimate is debitable to the head of account 4059-01-051KZ- Industries and Commerce Department-1602.
