UPCOMING PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION & PERFORMANCE POINTS (P3POINTS)

Due to the temporary computer loss we will not be doing PD points for the remainder of the year. Although many folks will likely have to cry
themselves to sleep over this development - we would still like attendance, minutes and intervention plans to be logged on the wiki for Friday’s
meeting. For Regents week we will distribute the usual “Regents Deliverables Checklist” to be handed in to J & S at year’s end.

6.3 TUESDAY: 3:40-4:10 FULL STAFF MEETING ON FIELD DAY TOTAL RUNNING TIME (TRT): 30 minutes
18 contenders…only one champion. Folders, score sheets and other cool pre-field day things will be delivered to staff.
NO MEETING WEDNESDAY.

6.5 FRIDAY A: 1:30-2:00 NAfET SURVEY TRT: 30 minutes

Julia from NAfET will come by to administer the year-end school climate survey – this data gets compared to the beginning of the year survey
everyone participated in as well as the last 3 years of collected data.
6.5 FRIDAY B: 2:30-3:30 GRADE TEAM MEETING TRT: 90 minutes
During this time grade teams will compare information on student performance and determine situations where academic interventions will be
possible for students “on the cusp” of grades (F to D, B to A, etc.). Each grade team has a new “meeting” template set up on the wiki under
the sidebar item “GRADE TEAM ARCHIVES.” From this link go to the hyperlink for your grade 2007-2008. Ryan has set up a page there for
each team to log minutes, attendance and next actions. Since we will only be putting these minutes online this year (as it is the last GTM) the
link goes straight to a template for the 6-5-08 Minutes.
DELIVERABLES: 1.NAfET Survey to Julia 2.Grade Team Minutes with intervention plans for students “on the cusp.”

6.11 WEDNESDAY: 3:40-5:00 FULL STAFF MEETING Featuring HLP & iTEAM TRT: 80 minutes
30 Minutes: Andi and the Higher Learning Team will give a presentation on the data collected and lessons learned from this years
focus students. 50 Minutes: iTeam will invite staff into a discussion around goals and procedures for the 2007-2008 School Year.

6.13 FRIDAY A: 1:00-2:30 SPI PUBLICATION CELEBRATION TRT: 90 minutes

Staff is invited to join the 11th Grade Students for a “happening” reading to
celebrate the publication of their book A South Bronx Tale: Profiles Re-Defining
the American Dream in the school cafeteria. United Playaz will be selling
lunch at the event as a fundraiser. Each 11th Grade Student will get a free copy
of the book. Additional books will be on sale for staff and parents at $10 a
copy. Book proceeds will go toward the Class of 2009 Student Activity Fund.

6.13 FRIDAY B: 2:50-3:30 REGENTS & END OF YEAR ISSUES FULL STAFF MEETING TRT: 40 minutes
As advertised, this meeting time will be used to hand out a Regents Schedule, accountability checklists, and heads up on small
group meetings and end of year issues (see heads up info on next page).

• JUNE 4: Is Field Day. Rain Day is Wednesday, June 11.

• YANKEES VS. BLUE JAYS GAME: This year the game the same night as Field Day – JUNE 4. If you want to go to the ballgame on June 4
see Sara T. with $20 dollars for your ticket.

• THURSDAY JUNE 5 Is the DOE Staff PD Day, see attached sheet for details.

• REMINDER: Saturday School is on for June 7 & 14!

• UNITED PLAYAZ PEACE MARCH: Students meet at school 11AM and travel to Long Island for the event Saturday, June 14.

• ALL ATTENDANCE IS LEGALLY REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETE AND 100% UP TO DATE BY MONDAY, JUNE 16h. Please make sure
by 4:00PM Monday June 16 all your attendance is up to date with Laura, the salmon sheets and Powerschool. Do to the seriousness of this
task, letters to file will be written for those who fail to complete this task.

• MP3 & FINAL GRADES ARE DUE THURSDAY, JUNE 19 @ 5:00PM

• HEADS UP: REGENTS WEEK. During Regents Week individual teachers will be responsible for some small group meetings as well as
individual responsibilities including some wiki work. The math team WILL NOT be proctoring tests as they will be working with Kelly on an
intensive revamp of the Math Curriculum during this time. There will also be a whole staff meeting on DYO. Other small group activities are
TBD. THERE WILL BE A FULL STAFF END OF YEAR/PRE-GRADUATION MEETING ON WED JUNE 25!

• BK GRADUATION IS JUNE 26 Will be from 10am to 1:00pm at the Jewish Theological Seminary at 123 and Broadway June 26. Appropriate
dres is required.
