Efficient long-range tracking of crates and bins
The SMARTRAC SmartCrate Tag is a robust transponder specifically designed for
use in harsh environments.
Based on its rugged casing, the transponder possesses good resistance to shock,
dust, vibrations and temporary immersion in water. The SMARTRAC SmartCrate
Tag can be easily attached to plastic surfaces e.g. the tags can be glued to the
crate.
The SMARTRAC SmartCrate Tag offers excellent performance. Depending on the
application, reader power and environment, the tag offers a read range of 5 to 7
meters. To ensure interoperability with standard UHF equipment, the transponders comply with the ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPC Global C1 G2 standards.
SMARTRAC SmartCrate Tags are fully read-tested prior to delivery. Additional
services such as pre-encoding, text or logo printing on the tags are available on
request. With their long read range and durability, the SMARTRAC SmartCrate
Tags enable RFID-based container management to surpass any form of manual
data capture in terms of cost-effectiveness and accuracy. Thereby, crates and
containers can be located easily and efficiently.
