The management of Company A wanted to close the operations of the company
as soon as possible because of the high losses it incurred with each passing day. After it received the reconciliation failure report from the labour commission, it immediately decided to close down the operations and were willing to pay one month notice period salary to the employees. However the employees refused to take this offer and filed a case in the labour court against the company. The company took legal assistance from M/s Deepak Sabharwal &Associates in this case. The case was fought at the Trichy district court. The company and the law firm ensured that all the legal obligations were followed with the PF authorities and the employee state insurance while paying off the employees that were suspended.
