WILSON, M. R.
Officers were dispatched to 2913 Jackson Ave in regards to a battery that had
occurred. Upon arriving we were to meet the Victim-T. Flores in her vehicle at
Jackson Ave/Villa. Upon locating her, I could see that her face was covered in
blood, the left side of her face was swollen and red. I asked what had happened
and she said that her husband, OF-D.F., had beaten her.
Officer Karmire arrived and we went to the Flores residence to check for the
OF-D.F. Victim-T.Flores said that there should be a red dodge truck in the drive if
he hadn`t left in it. She thought that he may have taken off on foot though.
Upon arriving at the house we cleared it and found nobody inside. The truck was
still in the garage and we cleared the garage and checked the vehicle. We were
unable to locate OF-D.F.
Victim-T. Flores said that she didn`t want to go to the hospital to be checked out
and didn`t want to leave the house for fear that he would return and tear everything
up. She advised that he`s done that before. Victim-T. Flores was trying to get a
family member to come stay with her for the night. I advised that she leave and
stay with family if she couldn`t find someone to stay with her.
When asked what brought this incident on, she said that she had gotten home and
found him on the bed with food smeared across his face. When she confronted
him about drinking he jumped up and started beating her in the face with his fist.
