An organic box scheme
What is an organic box scheme?
We deliver boxes of vegetables from our organic farm to homes up to 100 kilometres
away. Most families get one box per week. They choose either a small, medium or large
box.
What is an organic farm?
We dont use any chemicals on the farm.
Can you choose which vegetables are in your box?
No, the vegetables are different at different times of year. For example, in winter there are
lots of potatoes, carrots and onions. In summer, there are things like tomatoes, beans and
peas.
Are all the vegetables from your farm?
90% of the vegetables are from our farm. We do use some vegetables from other
countries at certain times of year. For example, most of the winter vegetables finish by
April and the summer vegetables arent ready until June. So then we also use some
vegetables from France and Spain to keep the boxes full.
41 People buy the vegetable boxes in a shop.
