Dear Dr. Guenzler-Stevens,
I am a first year Graduate Student, pursuing my MS in Geotechnical Engg and I am excited at
the prospect of working with The Stamp Student Union as a Student Involvement Resource
Specialist. Having invested two years of mine in Student Union during my undergraduate
career and one year working as a Site Engineer after my graduation, I developed some strong
leadership and Communication skills would make me a valuable asset to the Student
Organization Resource Centre team.
During my tenure as a member of student council in my undergraduate days, I organized a
good number of College as well as Departmental level events. This responsibility helped me to
improve my decision making and organizational skills, teaching me how to effectively lead a
group of my peers. And working as a site engineer for one year all these skills reached an
another level.
I hope to have the opportunity to give my best as a Student Involvement Resource Specialist. I
