Projects Working as a Research Assistant and developer for Project Sandhaan (A Cross Lingual Search Engine supporting 10 Indian Languages including English) at SIEL, IIIT-H. Designed a Desktop Client using Java Swings which collects and aggregates user stock portfolio data from the website of a private data provider at a scheduled time and makes it browsable offline using a simple Ajax driven Web UI. The application architecture is flexible enough to change the data provider or work with multiple data providers. Developed a basic Search Engine (IR System) for an offline Wikipedia dump using Java and JSP as part the Information Retrieval and Extraction course. Developed a framework which closely emulates Hadoop MapReduce environment on Google AppEngine as part of the Cloud Computing course. Designed and developed an extensible Web Services based architecture for an Engineering Data Management System. It can help an organization manage various documents that are generated as part and parcel of any project commonly termed as Enterprise resource management. The project has been developed in C#.NET and .NET framework 2.0

Designed and developed an Audio Recorder for Symbian S60 based Mobile phones. It supports audio recording without any time bounds and quick playback of the recorded files. The project has been done in Python upon the PyS60 API a port of python for Symbian S60 platform Designed and managed the websites, for Ciencia 08 and Ciencia 09. Key features of the site include usage of Ajax, following the MVC pattern of CodeIgniter, form processing with both client and server side validation and delivering html emails Also maintained an exclusive website providing study material and news updates for our class.

Extra-Curricular Activities International World Wide Web Conference (WWW) 2011 o Was one of the volunteers for the conference SONG 2010 (A one week rapid development event at SIEL, IIIT Hyderabad) o Was the key member of Web UI design team for an Automatic Grievance Extraction System developed as part of the event o Maintained the website of the event. o Was chosen the Most Valuable Person of the event. IREA 2010 (First annual research meet of SIEL, IIIT Hyderabad) o Was one of the organizing members of the event Yahoo Hack U 2010 o Developed a small innovative Calendar Gadget which displays events as icons on an analog clock. It can also fetch remainders from your twitter feed and add them to your calendar. o This gadget received a honorary mention from the jury. Web Designing Workshop: A one week workshop at CVR College of Engineering. o Gave lectures on JavaScript, PHP CodeIgniter framework and MySQL Ciencia (Two day annual technical festival at CVR College of Engineering) o Won second prize in the Java Debugging Contest organized as part of the event. o Designed and headed the event Tweak XP as part of the fest. o Managed the websites for Ciencia 2008 and 2009.
