Eligibility and Criteria
Overall eligibility iktva Excellence Award
To enter the awards you must:
1. Be registered as manufacturer or contractor with Saudi Aramco
2. Have a good standing with Saudi Aramco
3. Have acknowledged and abide by Saudi Aramcos Supplier Code of Conduct
4. Have submitted an audited iktva Survey
5. Have submitted an approved 5-Year iktva Plan (or have one in progress with
Saudi Aramco)
6. Be actively engaged in business with Saudi Aramco
NB. Entries close October 1, 2016

Award Categories and Specific Criteria

Best in Supplier Development Award Criteria:
1. Must meet overall eligibility criteria
2. Submit written business case describing your demonstrated achievements
developing your in-Kingdom suppliers
Your written business case submission shall include but is not limited to the
following:
a) The details of your companys efforts in developing in-Kingdom
suppliers technical capabilities, technology transfer, quality
improvement, and integration into international supply chain
b) Written testimonials from successfully developed suppliers,
describing what actions were taken by the supplier and what
achievements were accomplished as a result of this development
Based on the business case submissions, an appointed judging panel will select
one (1) winner for the category. The winner will be the company that
demonstrates the most significant and impactful commitment, investment, and
progress in developing their supplier businesses in Saudi Arabia.
Best in Training & Development Award Criteria:
1. Must meet overall eligibility criteria
2. Submit written business case describing your contribution to the training,
development, and qualification of Saudi nationals
Your written business case submission shall include but not limited to the
following:
a) Key accomplishment in developing Saudi nationals

b) Investment made in training, education and sponsorship programs for

Saudi nationals
c) Written testimonials from successfully development Saudi national/s
Based on the business case submissions, an appointed judging panel will select
one (1) winner for the category. The winner will be the company that
demonstrates the most significant and impactful commitment, investment, and
progress in developing the skills and career potential of Saudi nationals under
their employ.

Notes:
Each company can submit written business cases for both categories but
only one (1) per category
Those companys choosing to entry both categories must submit separate
individual written business cases per category and must be clearly
labelled as such
Other than the above outlined parameters there is no set submission
template
