Im Jeannette Maw, the Good Vibe Coach, and Ive been immersed in conscious
creation since 2000.
Thats when I found myself accidentally reading a copy of How to Get Everything You
Ever Wanted by Adrian Calabrese.
I was pretty sure the author was off her rocker when I read her thoughts about using
our psychic powers to change our lives. This material was not for me.
Dr. Calabrese believed the best way to make things happen wasnt by our physical
selves, but instead was best accomplished by
leveraging our inherent spiritual and intuitive
abilities.
She was asking readers to do things that sounded
kind of crazy.
And if I didnt have a personal rule about practicing
at least one thing from every self-help book I read, I
would have dismissed her advice altogether.
But because of my silly rule, I did the least crazy
thing I could find in the book.
That was to speak about what I wanted as if it were already done.
Its called scripting, and if youve ever done it, you know how uncomfortable it can
feel. Especially for a skeptic like me at the time.
So that Thursday night after finishing the book, I told my boyfriend how wonderful it
was that one of our most challenging foster dogs got adopted. (We had eight big dogs
that werent getting any interest from adopters at all. In fact, we were in the midst of a
three-month dry streak for adoptions, and were at the end of our rope.)
The script I made up off the top of my head went something like this:

Isnt it great how Jeff got adopted? By that family? That husband and wife
with the two kids? And they have the other dog, so he has someone to play
with. And they live nearby so we can visit him whenever we want, and they
have plenty of money to handle whatever his medical needs might be. Isnt that
great?
It was half-hearted and very simple. But technically, Id followed my rule of doing one
thing from the book, so I was off the hook.
My boyfriend looked at me like I had two heads, even though Id told him in advance
that this was going to sound crazy.
Jeff, in the meantime, an 80-pound husky relinquished by his former owner, lounged
right at my feet the whole time I talked about how wonderful that he was adopted by
his new family.
And I didnt expect anything to come of it.
It wasnt until Saturday morning when the adoption fair coordinator phoned to say
there were two families fighting over Jeff that I started to wonder what exactly was
going on.
My boyfriend and I drove to the adoption event to help sort the situation, which
didnt add up at first glance.
Because in our rescue experience, normally youve got to filter a bunch of applicants
before you find one worth considering. And even then, they can get rejected for a
bazillion different reasons. (The groups we work with are very strict about placement
of their animals.)
And were being told there are two families fighting over Jeff, both of whom are so
perfect they cant narrow it down? This was just weird.
We got there and took a look at the paperwork from the two prospective families.
They were each exactly as I described in my script: A husband and wife with two kids
and another dog. Local to the area and well-qualified to meet medical expenses.
And they both insisted on having this particular dog. As in, almost coming to blows
over being awarded the privilege of taking this dog home.
The same dog that had absolutely no lookers for the entire three months wed be
dragging him to this same adoption fair.
All of a sudden now hes a hot commodity.
I was speechless.
After handing the applications back to the adoption coordinator without a word, I
walked to the parking lot to sit in the car and reflect on what had just transpired.
Was there something to this scripting thing after all?
I realized that author might not be as crazy as Id
thought. (My apologies, Dr. C.)
That afternoon Jeff went home with one of the lucky
families to live happily ever after in the lap of luxury.
And the next day our high-energy springer spaniel
Oakley was adopted by an absolute perfect match
an active single guy who was a runner, an outdoor
enthusiast, and a fan of this somewhat challenging
breed. His girlfriend also had a springer spaniel so it
seemed like it couldnt have worked out better!
Two dogs adopted in one weekend was miracle material for us.
And then Tuesday night a local rescue group offered to take two of our black labs off
our hands to adopt them out of their own group.
We were down four dogs in four days. Our dry streak was officially broken and our
sanity started to return as hope replaced despair and discouragement. (It had been a
rough three months with eight big dogs not to mention over a dozen foster cats - in
our 850-square-foot house.)
I wasnt the same person after that experience. Seeing those two perfect applications,
both families intent on taking Jeff home with them, less than 48 hours after Id
scripted it that was a game-changer for me.
After that I read everything I could get my hands on about our creative powers, which
back then wasnt much.
This was before The Secret, before Ask And It Is Given, even before the movie What The
Bleep Do We Know.
I didnt even know the phrase Law of Attraction (acronym LOA used in this book)
until I found it in Lynn Grabhorns Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting.
But from that moment on at the adoption fair I
couldnt stop thinking about, studying, practicing and
sharing conscious creation.
After experimenting with my manifesting skills in
various ways, I eventually quit my day job of helping
people with their money (as a financial planner and
retirement specialist) to devote my work to amping
up our conscious creation skills.
And thats what Ive been doing full time for over a
decade.
Ive been working with people and their money since 1993 when I got my first job at
Fidelity Investments, and obtained my certified financial planner designation while
making the rounds at local banks as a retirement specialist. Money is a subject I love
working with people on! And when we combine it with our conscious creation
powers, wowza! Thats when it gets really good!
For those of you who care, my formal resume credentials over the years included a
Certified Financial Planner license, Qualified Pension Administrator designation,
Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses, an insurance license, and two coach training programs
including a Master Coach certification from Martha Beck Inc. Ive worked with
hundreds of clients over the years, hosting the biggest LOA membership site online,
and publishing one of the most highly trafficked LOA blogs. I know money and I
know LOA. This is my wheelhouse.
Ive studied - and you may recognize in this book - the principles of manifesting by
Abraham, Mike Dooley, Bashar, Ptaah, Stuart Wilde, and Neville, among others.
Many thanks to the teachers who have contributed to my understanding and success
with money manifesting.
Perhaps because I spent most of my corporate career talking with people about their
money that I find money is still one of my favorite subjects to help others manifest.
Not because money is the be-all and end-all of happy living. I dont think its that at
all. But rather because once we grow our manifesting skills in this area of life, we feel
freer to focus our attention and our powers on more important topics.
So what do you say we get this money party started, huh?
One thing I want to say before we dive in its okay to be skeptical.
I actually think thats a healthy habit to question input from others and find our own
truths rather than take someone elses word for it.
I myself thought this was nutty stuff when I first ran across it, so I get it.
And that wont stop the magic from unfolding if youre willing to play along.
Lets begin
T HE B ASIS
OF
M ONEY D ESIRES
(W HY W E W ANT M ONEY )
What is it about money that seems to have us all interested in getting more of it?
I mean, we cant eat or drink it; it doesnt make very good shelter or clothing. It cant
keep us warm at night, or tell us how great our hair looks. It cant keep us company
when were lonely or help us feel better when were sick.
So why in the world are we all fired-up about money?
Because of what we think it can do for us.
Money is the ultimate middle man.
It was actually designed for that specific purpose to
make it easier for us to get what we want.
But over time weve gotten confused about its
proper role.
Sometimes we mistakenly believe money matters.
When the truth is that its always been about what it
leads to.
We dont want money for moneys sake.
We want it for the freedom and enjoyment or even just the peace of mind we expect
it brings.
Money that we cant spend or trade for something else isnt actually that cool.
We only like it because of what we think its good for, or what it represents.
And having said that, money is a big part of how our society functions, so having
more seems preferable to having less.
Keeping it in proper perspective, though, will help us manifest it more easily.

Well come back to that point later, but for now Id like you to consider that money
isnt your ultimate destination or intention. Its just a way to get there.
What you really want is whatever youd be doing with all that money. (Or even how
you think youll feel.)
Thats your true goal or desire.
Moneys just a convenient way to facilitate it. It isnt the only way, however, and it
isnt the ultimate end game.
Its just a convenient medium of exchange.
Money is useless if you cant trade it for something you value. Its those other things
we value that really matter to us, not the money in and of itself.
Got it?
Well revisit this concept later in the book. But I wanted to plant that seed now.
For now, lets move on to explore why some of us have had spotty results using Law
of Attraction to manifest money
W HY M ONEY C AN S EEM S O T RICKY

Im going to venture a guess and say this probably isnt your first tutorial on how to
manifest money.
And probably not the first time youve flexed your manifesting muscle to attract
financial abundance.
If youre like most creators I know, youve had both positive and not-so-positive
experiences in creating money.
You might have wondered why it works for some people, some of the time? And
other times its just crickets? (Or even worse,
backfires?)
It might seem like Law of Attraction is unreliable or
random, but its more likely that something else is
afoot
What Ive noticed is that money is a tricky subject
for many people. Regardless of our financial
position, lots of folks have a charge on this topic
that actually repels money.
By charge I mean we have an abundance of kinky thoughts and feelings about it.
Many times were not even aware of those kinks.
Its just cultural or experiential conditioning that has programmed us with some
vibrations on this subject that dont always serve us.
If were not working out those kinks, it can be frustrating when we think were doing
what were supposed to do in order to attract money and yet it doesnt get here.
Its like having the gas and the brakes on at the same time. The gas represents our
desire for more money, and the brakes represent the kinky thoughts we have about
money.
Some of those thoughts (that many times are running in the mental background)
include:
Money is hard to come by

I have to work for it
Theres not enough
Its never been easy
Financial struggle is all I know
I really need this
This is a big deal
Ill be in trouble if I dont figure this out
If only I could get this handled, then life would be fine
Of course none of us would consciously give any of these manifesting instructions, but
many have something similar running on autopilot that kinks up the party enough to
slow down or even block money.
The good news is we dont have to totally eliminate every contrary thought in order to
let the money in but it is helpful to minimize them in favor of the vibrational
instructions we prefer.
And thats what were doing in this book learning to strengthen the vibes that serve
while diminishing the ones that dont.
Thats why even if your previous attempts to create prosperity havent paid off, you
can expect different results this time.
It doesnt matter if it hasnt worked before today is a new day and a chance for a
new vibration. It can happen that fast.
Plugging into a new energetic frequency changes everything.
Even if youve never done it before, even if youre not entirely sure this stuff works,
this is a chance for a new outcome. All it takes is for you to play along.
For those of you reading this feeling optimism or even excitement, thats a perfect
place to be in order to let the magic in.
For the handful of you who are reading this with desperate hopes that something
better happen fast, because dire consequences are in store if it doesnt, thats a
different story. In that case youve got more work to do because those strong contrary
vibrations are obstacles to letting in the money you feel you so desperately need.
Need is like kryptonite to manifesting what you want. Being attached to money
slows the path to your financial abundance.
The best thing you could do is find a way to chill out
about it even if its just deciding to temporarily stop
worrying for now. Give yourself a reason to relax.
The more anxiety you feel about making this work, the
less likely it is to.
Even if all you did was take three deep breaths every
time you notice yourself thinking a worrisome thought
about money, that will help!
And if youre in a downward spiral you feel powerless to stop, no worries there either,
because sooner or later youll reach bottom and there will be nothing to keep grasping
for. Thats when a lot of people finally find relief after the worst happens.
The way we can look at this, is that one way or another, good things are in store.
Whether its sooner or later is completely up to how youre focusing attention about
money.
That leads us to our next discussion about the limits of Law of Attraction and what it
can do for you

T HE L IMITS OF LOA
(W HAT I T C AN AND C AN T D O FOR Y OU )
Some people wonder whether its really possible to have what they want, including
financial wealth and prosperity. After all, maybe they were destined to struggle in this
lifetime, or maybe they have lessons to learn about money. Maybe they just werent
meant to be rich.
But students of conscious creation know that anything is possible that we dare dream.
If you can imagine it, you can have it. Thats what LOA can do for you.
What it cant do for you is overcome your vibrational instruction. No matter how
badly you want something.
So if it seems that financial abundance is not in the cards because youve tried so
many things and it doesnt seem to work, thats not because LOA has failed you. Its
because youre still finding your way to the energetic frequency that lets it in.
And I can help with that. Thats why I wrote this book, so lets get on with this
money manifesting party

3 K EYS TO U NLOCK Y OUR F INANCIAL F ORTUNE

There are lots of ways to go about manifesting money, many of which Ive written
about at Good Vibe Blog. Ive led courses on this subject at Good Vibe University,
and written an entire ebook on the start to finish process of manifesting money.
But this book is devoted to the three keys that I believe can make a big
difference in your bank account.
Theyre based on my experience as a coach in guiding fellow creators to their financial
prosperity, as well as my personal experiences with manifesting money.
We could include a lot of other things in this process,
but I just want to address the three things that kink a
lot of money parties, and to keep it as simple and
foolproof as possible.
If youve been around the LOA block before, youve
probably heard this at some point. And as you may
have experienced, knowing something doesnt always
translate to implementing.
These ideas only work when you implement
them.
Reading this book isnt likely enough to make a huge shift. (Although some of you
may experience that.)
What really makes the difference is putting this material into practice.
If you just read this then forget about it, dont expect big change in your financial
situation.
If, however, you engage these concepts, you can expect money to reflect that
difference. Plenty of people are proving it every day. Myself included.
Even if you only use one of these keys, you will notice a difference.

If you play with all three, get ready to be rock! Because this stuff works when you
work it.
Here are the three keys offered in order of my preference that you engage them

K EY #1: S EE W HERE I T S A LREADY S O

Have you ever seen someone wish for Mr. or Ms. Right only to later discover he was
right under their nose the whole time?
Or watch someone desperately search for lost glasses while wearing them on their
head?
Thats kind of what were doing when we wish for prosperity and riches to manifest in
our lives.
Our prosperity is already here.
And if we cant see it, thats our first job - to develop
eyes for the riches and abundance already
present in our lives.
Because until we learn how to see where it already is,
well be unable to see more arriving.
Heres the thing:
What you want already exists. But as long as youre
wanting it, as long as youre not seeing it and are
believing that its not here, it has to remain invisible
to you. Because your vibrational instruction says so.
Its not until youre flowing the vibe of Oh, there you are! that it can reveal itself.
And its literally like finding the glasses on your head after youve been searching all
over the house for them.
Your abundance has been right here all along.
All we have to do is learn how to see it.
Have you ever learned how to see auras? Or maybe the silhouette spinning both
directions?

It might be kind of like that at first where it seems like were trying to see
something that were not sure even exists.
Yet it does. And until you can see how thats already so, you wont be able to see any
more.
So our first key is to develop eyes that can see where our abundance already
exists.
Before you go insisting that you are the exception, that you really and truly have no
financial wealth or abundance to tally, I would ask you to consider whether thats
really the vibrational instruction you want to offer.
Because whatever you say has to be so.
If you argue for your lack and limitations, you will
be right every time. And you can do so much better
than engaging that version of life. Youre a conscious
creator or youre becoming one. You can do better
than that.
So if you found yourself tempted to prove you really
truly have no signs of abundance, try on a different
story, please.
Maybe this version might serve better:
What if ? What if I really have been overlooking abundance that I already have?
What if it was just a matter of being willing to see it in order to receive more? What if it were that
easy? Is it possible I could look around and see abundance and prosperity in my life?
Even entertaining the questions that its possible makes room for it to be true,
whereas the insistence that you dont have any prosperity at all shuts your money
party down.
(If it really is too hard or uncomfortable to consider that abundance may
already be present in your life, youve likely got counter-intentions in play that

will need reconciling. Thats beyond the scope of this book, but youll find a
blog post about it here and here.)
So, if youre game to play along with me on this how do we develop eyes for our
present abundance?
Its as simple as looking for it.
Since we get whatever we look for (the observer effect proves our power here that
whatever we look for exists), its as simple as keeping an eye out for it.
If Ive got $20 in my account that Ive been seeing as not enough perhaps theres
a way I could see that as true abundance.
(I guarantee to someone running big debt would love to trade places with someone
carrying even a small positive balance.)
I myself had grown to view a six-figure business as not enough. Over the
years, a couple of business coaches and marketing managers had told me
enough times that I was sitting on a million dollar business that eventually I felt
frustrated with anything less. Knowing that like attracts like, what do you think
that perspective on my money was taking me to? Not to seven figures, Ill tell
you that. Seven comes from an appreciation of six, not a disdain for it.
But this practice of beginning to see abundance isnt limited to our finances ...
We can look for abundance throughout all areas of life.
If Ive got a bunch of strawberries in the fridge that need to be eaten soon,
thats a sign of abundance.
If Ive got friends sharing yet more funny cat videos on facebook, thats
abundance.
If they gave me a free apple at the farmers market while I was browsing the
stalls, thats more abundance.
If Ive got more books than I can read at once, thats an abundance.

If I cant stop laughing at my sweeties joke over dinner, thats another example
of abundance in my world.
If Im seeing bills I dont know how to pay, I, at one point, must have had an
abundance of credit to rack up those bills! Yay me!
If I can take a deep breath in the face of financial pressure and know that one
way or another everything will work out, Ive got an abundance of trust.
If you can see abundance in financial ways, do it. If thats challenging, then start with
abundance in general plenty of flowers, a bunch of cars, lots of phone calls, tons
of emails anyway you can plug in.
You can warm up on non-money topics which will
make it easier to start seeing abundance later on in
your finances.
So however you can, start seeing where
abundance lives in your life. Start seeing yourself
as a person who is rich in some things. It doesnt
even have to be your own stuff it can be someone
elses that youre appreciating the abundance of.
Just find ways to start seeing and appreciating plenty,
wherever you can.
It might even be fun to make a game of practicing seeing it differently whenever you
notice youre seeing lack. Is there a way to see this as plenty? Can you imagine how
someone else might interpret it that way? Try it on from anothers perspective, and
that might do the trick.
However you can start seeing things differently, practice seeing it as good instead of
bad. See plenty instead of not enough. Thats what the practice in this Key #1.
Once you do, Universe will give you more of that. (For now dont worry about how
- well get to that later.)

This practice of switching your vision from lack to plenty takes skill. To dial in
on a new perspective calls for mental flexibility and practice!
But until we get good at seeing what is rather than what isnt, our full
financial prosperity will be elusive.
When Grant Mattos, a former NFL player, was voted off Survivor after being
betrayed by his closest ally Rob, in his exit interview he said, I have eyes for
the gifts. Meaning he knows how to see whats gone right. He knows how to
flow gratitude where many wouldnt.
Its that kind of flexibility in our vision that makes all the difference in letting
our financial prosperity in.
Bottom line: You get to be right whatever you say.
So you can insist that you really truly are broke, that
things really truly are desperate, and that seeing the
situation differently is just a Pollyanna approach that
leads to more trouble.
You can claim that.
My question to you is: Do you want to be right, or
do you want to be rich?
Because allowing wealth and prosperity requires you to give up the old story of not
enough.
And trust me, it feels way better, too.
Dont take my word for it, though. Put it into practice and see for yourself.
In the meantime, lets move on to the second key

K EY #2: P RE -T END I T B IGGER

This next key to unlocking your financial fortune is all about creating a new normal
for yourself when it comes to money.
Were going to increase your money set points and financial expectations by letting
Universe know that youre rich rich rich! (Or whatever you choose to instruct.)
The LOA logic behind this step is that if we keep seeing things as they are, well
keep manifesting the same reality.
So by seeing/feeling/thinking something new and different, we create something new
and different.
Heres another way to think of it:
In the first key, I asked you to start seeing the
abundance that already exists. This second key is about
seeing the increased abundance that youd like to come
next.
So were taking it above and beyond acknowledging
the riches we already experience, and expanding our
vision into seeing what else wed like to become true.
When you get good at this practice, Universe has to drop the wealth on you because
your vibrational signal requires it. We get whatever we vibrate.
Law of Attraction matches whatever you say vibrationally, so tapping into this vibe is
what requires your expanded abundance to manifest.
Now that you know why were doing it, lets talk about how
Its actually a very simple process. Its not tricky or hard. Its just that its easy to
forget, because were so accustomed to seeing what is rather than what we prefer.

All thats involved, though, is engaging a way for you to think, speak, see, act or
feel the financial reality you want. Thats how you offer a new vibration for Law of
Attraction to match.
Mike Dooley practiced this when he opened his mail to find a big bill that he wasnt
prepared to pay. Instead of worrying or fretting about how he didnt have enough
money, he said out loud, Wow, its a good thing Im rich.
Before he ever was.
Thats how we pre-tend it into reality.
Its what Kidd Rock practiced when he wrote a song about going platinum long
before he had any business claiming that.
Its what the Green Bay Packers practiced
when they were fitted for Superbowl rings the
night before they played (as if theyd already
won).
Its what Frank Butterfield practiced when he
photo-shopped a PayPal statement to add a
couple extra digits to his balance. (That thing
was beautiful to behold!)
Its what I practiced when I bought and wore an outfit that I thought a
financially free woman would wear.
Its what every conscious creator is doing when we go to sleep dwelling on the
delightful scenes from our wealthy life. And what every manifestor does when we
engage affirmations, or use symbols, or watch mind movies of our prosperity and
abundance.
There are a ton of different ways to inspire a new vibration.
However we accomplish the vibrational switch, thats what opens doors that had
previously blocked our expanded wealth and abundance.

We dont have to do it 24/7, but it does require an investment of time in the

vibrations of our preferred financial reality. This isnt something you do just once and
then forget about. For most of us, its something that requires consistency and
commitment.
My personal practice is just to tune into the vibe of what I want before the day starts,
so the vibes are activated before anything else happens.
And then if I notice during the day that Im thinking or feeling something contrary to
what I want, thats my cue to plug back into the vision (or the thoughts) of what I
want.
Its not hard.
But it is powerful.
The thing is, its easy to forget about doing it.
Lots of people know this stuff but dont practice it
because, as Abraham would say, were lazy focusers.
Switching focus requires an effort. It doesnt happen
by itself. Thats a party we need to lead. Again and
again. Eventually it does become natural. But in the
beginning, it takes effort, persistence and
commitment.
So youll want to set yourself up with some sort of plan or trigger to remember to
engage it.
This is why many people enjoy pray rain journaling, because its an easy practice to
make sure you do it once every day. Just write a page a day about what you want as if
youve already got it. Thats it.
Another way to remind yourself to do the work is a strategically placed sticky note
with your favorite money affirmation on it.
Or to listen to a guided money meditation on your iPod during lunch breaks.

Or to engage a simple five-minute visualization session before you start your day.
(There are a bunch of ideas at the blog if you dont already know your favorite
vibration management tools and techniques.)
You may find that switching up your vibration management method or tool is helpful.
Others discover that mastering one gives them best results.
But whatever you enjoy the most, and is best at helping you feel now how you would
feel then (when youre living the financial reality you prefer), thats what you want to
play with.
And please do keep it playful.
Dont make it a big deal.
Dont make it important.
Dont beat yourself up when you notice you forgot to do it.
Light and easy serves us best in this work.
So please orient yourself toward that.
Which actually leads us nicely into our third key for unlocking our financial fortune

K EY #3: M AKE I T L ESS I MPORTANT

(Engage the Power of Hootlessness)
This key might frustrate those who feel like its a dire emergency to manifest money
right now.
But the fact of the matter is the more you need money, the more elusive it
becomes.
So you want to drop whatever need and attachment you have to creating cash.
Because, remember, Law of Attraction can only match what youre flowing
vibrationally.
So if youre dialed on need, then you cant feel
satisfaction. If youre feeling like you have to have
it, youre going to keep feeling that way, because
you can only get what you vibrate. (Its that darn
like attracts like thing again.)
Which means its energetically attractive to relax
about money, to find a way to let it be not such a
big deal. Get hootless about it!
That might sound like Im asking you to do the impossible since most of us live in
societies where money seems pretty important.
But thats easier to accomplish when we realize two things:
#1 - Money isnt responsible for how we feel and
#2 - Money doesnt stand in the way of what we want.
A lot of times, we put money on the hook for us to experience what we desire.
Which means we make money responsible for us being able to relax and feel peace.
Or secure. Or happy. Or free.

And thats a bunch of hooey, because money isnt in charge of how we feel. Only you
are in charge of how you feel.
It doesnt do us any good, in fact its quite disempowering to believe well feel better
when the rents paid, or the vacation is booked, or the car is upgraded.
It doesnt work that way. (All you have to do is see a rich person who is stressed out
about money to know that money doesnt suddenly make everything better.)
So we want to stop making money responsible for how we feel.
Thats something Ive been practicing myself, once I realized I was expecting money
to make me feel successful.
Money cant do that for me. How I feel is an inside
job, every time.
And when I take money off the hook for making me
feel successful, then not only can I stop waiting for
money to bring me that feeling (which it never can),
but I can give that feeling-gift to myself right here,
right now. When I do that, I just created the kind of
alignment that makes it super easy for money to
show up in droves.
What Id like you to get from this third key is that how you feel is up to you. Period.
Its not dependent on external circumstances. No one and nothing else is in charge of
how you feel but you. To believe anything else is an illusion and a disempowerment.
When you understand that and take charge of your feeling state by feeling now
how you would feel then, you become a serious money magnet. Because you dont
need it any more. Youre not waiting on it before you feel how you wanted to feel.
Make sense? Its an important thing to understand - and practice - in becoming a
powerful money manifestor.
Think of it this way imagine you had a friend who made you responsible for her
good mood. What would that be like for you?

Every time she was unhappy, she expected you to turn it around for her.
Every time she was sad, she blamed you for it.
Every time she felt angry, she took it as a sign of your shortcomings.
How excited would you be about hanging around with this person? Unless youre a
glutton for punishment, youd likely find someone else to spend time with. Because
no one enjoys being made responsible for an impossible job.
And moneys no different.
(Not because money has a personality, but because it can only respond to whatever
vibrational instructions we give it. So if we show up empty, it cant fill us up. It just
doesnt work that way.)
Lets move on to the second point I made earlier
about how money cant actually prevent us from
experiencing or having whatever we want.
This is another important concept to embrace
because many of us mistakenly believe money is the
key to living the life we prefer.
I grant you that money can sometimes be a nice
facilitator of whatever desires we have whether its
for a nicer home, a luxurious vacation, or even launching a non-profit organization to
make the world a better place.
Money can be an effective tool for getting there.
But money isnt the only way there. And many times its not even the best way.
When we open up to this idea, by considering there are lots of paths to live our
dreams, thats yet another way we take money off the hook for what we want.
And when we do that, we become an even better match to it. So this is an idea worth
getting behind.

Lets explore this with a couple of examples:

Say I wanted a bunch of money so I could open an animal sanctuary, where animals in
need could live their lives out in peace and happiness. Pretend thats what I want
more than anything else.
I could take the approach that I needed a boatload of money (or generous patrons) to
buy the property and get volunteers or paid employees to transport, house and care
for the animals I want to support.
Or I could realize that money cant stand in the way of whatever I dream, and I could
start bringing those desires to life right here and now. Maybe I could:
Support organizations who are already doing this by volunteering my time,
promoting their work, or even just sending a couple bucks their way to help
with food.
Start small by helping the animals in my present reality. Perhaps the stray cat
thats been haunting the neighborhood could use a benefactor. Maybe I could
take her in, make a shelter, or help find her a home. Maybe I could feed the
birds in my backyard. Or help play matchmaker to friends who are looking for
a rescued animal to adopt.
Use my voice to urge my local representatives to support legislation that
improves the lives of our animals. I could attend a rally or phone my senators
or write editorials for the local paper.
Educate the people in my personal circle of influence about the importance of
keeping our animals safe and healthy.
And thats just a start. There are lots of ways I can support the outcome I want (a
better world for animals) that doesnt require a bunch of money in order for me to
start.
This is true for just about any desire you could hold. Money isnt the only way there.
Lets use another example:

If what you wanted was a beautiful place to live, rather than thinking it cant happen
until you have a big financial windfall, you could start loving the place you live right
now. Even if youre at someone elses house. Even if its not a house, but a shelter.
Wherever you are now, if you start loving that up, thats a step in the right vibrational
direction to not just allow but require your next fabulous place to manifest.
And money doesnt hold the key to it. You do.
When you no longer wait for money to rescue you from what you dont want, but
instead you turn your focus and your feelings around right now, that cues Universe to
send in something even better.
But it all starts with you.
My point being that when you stop thinking that
money is keeping you from what you want, and you
start however small living what you want now,
youre taking the pressure off of money to make
it happen. And thats what lets it happen.
That release of pressure makes it easier for money to
show up. Are you with me?
This is such a powerful vibe-changer that youd begin
practicing it this very moment if you truly understood the power of it.
To sum this up, when we drop the belief that money holds the key to whatever we
want to experience or feel, we cut money out as the middleman. Thats what reduces
our attachment or need for money - and what lets it in.
Kind of ironic, isnt it?
That its by not needing it that we become a better match to it?
Yeah, I know.
I didnt make up the rules. I just work them to my benefit.

So please know that whenever youre grasping for something out of need or
desperation, youre actually repelling the very thing you want. That goes for money
and everything else you might feel anxious about obtaining.
Instead of clinging to money or feeling needy about getting more, try on the
perspective where you know youre fine no matter what - that youre headed where
you want one way or another, and life is pretty good in the meantime.
Its sort of like saying to money, Im good with you or without you. Things always
work out for me. Im not dependent on you for my good time. Id love to have you
along, but Im going either way. And Im enjoying the journey.
So its not like were dismissing money from our lives as if it werent welcome (it
surely is!), but were not putting the pressure on it to
make us happy or content. Right? Because that
pressure blocks the whole party.
When you get to a place where you know you dont
need money in order to enjoy life, you just opened
the door wide open for it.
And yes, I know how frustrating this can be for
those who have been thinking that money will solve
all their problems.
Money cant do that for you, my friend. No one can.
Because if youre vibrating problems, one way or another, youre getting more of
them. Theres no escaping your vibration.
Its when you learn to take responsibility for your vibration (i.e. your feeling state) you
become empowered to manifest whatever you focus on. Including wealth and
abundance.
For those who might be wondering how to stop needing money before you have it,
Ive got two tips:

1. Give yourself what you really want. (Remember: It always boils down to a
feeling.) Bypass the middleman and get creative about other ways to experience your
desires.
2. Stop telling the story that money is stopping you. Blaming money for not being
able to proceed with our dreams is a convenient and popular excuse. And its a
bunchacrap. That doesnt mean you cant manifest that truth if you tell that story long
enough - indeed, you can. (We can manifest anything we focus on long enough!) But
when you know the power of your focus to create your reality, youll have new
incentive to open up your thinking and find the thoughts that allow you the
experience you prefer.
A better story to tell is to remind yourself that its
going to be okay. When you take a deep breath and
reflect on how everything has always worked out so
far, and that theres no reason to believe it wont
continue to, that self-soothing goes a long way in
shifting your money vibe.
Another thing I practiced when I was feeling needy
about money was to take action that helped
release that pressure. You can reduce expenses,
extend your credit, make arrangements with
creditors, file for bankruptcy, pick up some extra income.
I did a couple of things when I quit my job to build a coaching practice and found
myself feeling desperate about money.
I became willing to spend retirement savings (which I did in fact do).
I opened up a home equity line of credit (which I used).
and I reminded myself that worst case scenario Id pick up another job if need
be (which it wasnt).
I could have gone to family or friends if I got in real trouble. I could have rented out a
room for some extra money. I could have sold my house, car and other assets of

value. And Im sure there were other things I hadnt considered yet that could have
helped.
We wont all have the same options available to us, but the key is to be able to see
options rather than obstacles.
Another good thing to know about taking action to release pressure
The trick to taking those sorts of actions is to make sure youre feeling financial relief
rather than entertaining woe-is-me, times-are-tough kind of thoughts as you take
them. Because the same action can be a completely different vibration, depending on
how you engage it.
I took those actions in a way that made me feel like I was setting myself up for
success rather than spiraling down a financial hole.
And it made all the difference.
So weve covered the three keys including seeing where abundance is already present,
pre-tending our money bigger, and making money matter less.
Lets talk about what to do once youve engaged the three keys weve explored

H OW THE M ONEY G ETS H ERE

This might very well be the most important chapter in this book, because a lot of
people (even savvy creators) kink up the fabulous vibrational work theyve done
beforehand with what they do next
which is to try to figure it out and make it happen themselves.
They dont know to let it go and make room for Universe to do its magic.
(You can think of Universe as the Field, the Matrix, All That Is, God, Higher Self,
Source Energy, whatever word works best for you. Its basically the higher power that
we tap into and make room for.)
So lets get really clear about our role in this money
manifesting process!
Its very simple.
We give the vibrational instructions (which is what
we did with practicing the three keys) and then
Universe figures out how to make it happen.
Higher power coordinates its unfolding. Thats not
our job. All we have to do is get clear about What;
Universe does the How.
And if Universe needs us to be included in the How, it will let us know by tapping us
on the shoulder for our cue.
That tap on the shoulder is what we experience as inspiration. Fun. Joy. Feeling
good.
Anything that feels like that thats our cue from Universe saying, You, over here.
And you might not know why youre being called there. Or it might be obvious. It
doesnt matter if you understand or not. All you have to do is give a clear instruction

on What you want (thats what you did when you activated the vibration of financial
prosperity and abundance) and then do whatever feels good after that.
This is what a lot of manifestors dont understand or practice they dont know
how to trust following what feels good.
But whatever sounds like fun, whatever inspires you, whatever lights you up thats
your Higher Self, thats the part of you speaking straight from Source that knows
where to put you for this rendezvous. All you have to do is listen for the call and then
act on it.
Thats it.
Thats how we let the money in.
Pretty straightforward, right?
I will admit it can be easier said than done, because
we are so heavily programmed to make it happen
ourselves.
But thats not where our gifts lie. Thats not what our
power is.
Our job is to say What we want, and then support its
unfolding by honoring inspiration.
Universe, our Higher Self, or whatever you want to call the powers that be has to
figure out How.
And its really good at figuring that out. Way better than we are!
So lets get out of the way.
Give your vibrational instruction, and then honor what feels best. Period.
Heres how that might look:
You might turn on your money vibe and then get $5,000 from an ex-boyfriend.
You might turn on your money vibe and get a $10,000 surprise tax refund.

You might turn on your money vibe and get a $1,500 check for overpayment of
mortgage insurance.
You might turn on your money vibe and your sweetie wins over $10,000 at the
races.
You might turn on your money vibe and someone pays you a fortune for a
piece of equipment you thought was junk in your back yard.
You might turn on your money vibe and your accountant locates a surprise
retirement account worth half a million dollars.
You might turn on your money vibe and your boss gives you a surprise bonus.
You might turn on your money vibe and your boss gives you a surprise raise.
You might turn on your money vibe and find forgotten money in your
closet/purse/coat pocket.
You might turn on your money vibe and get discounts or free gifts all over
town.
You might turn on your money vibe and get a financial gift from a family
member.
All of those things happened in real life to conscious creators I know. Ive got a ton
of these examples from myself and clients where we didnt really do anything to
receive the money, other than say thank you and cash the check. This stuff happens
all the time.
It really is easier than we make it out to be.
But sometimes Universe calls us to action more than just answering the phone to hear
the good news or opening the mail to see the check.
Sometimes it delivers an idea that sounds like so much fun you cant wait to follow
through on it. Dont wait.
Sometimes it gives an impulse to phone someone or go somewhere. Make the phone
call or go to the place.
Sometimes it lights you up with a thought that doesnt seem at all related to your
money situation.

But anything that feels good or sounds like fun or feels like inspiration thats
Universe tapping you on the shoulder saying, Over here.
Follow it. Honor it. Without expectation. Without agenda. Just because it feels good.
If it doesnt feel good, thats not a signal from Universe.
Source Energy (aka your Higher Self) doesnt ask you to do things that you dont
enjoy.
So if youre getting an instruction to go struggle your way through something that is
your idea of living hell thats not Universe talking and its not something that will
take you where you want to go.
Many folks dont know how to let financial
prosperity be enjoyable.
They think they have to work hard for it.
But thats not how the system is set up.
When you get aligned with financial abundance (or
big fat cash or however you describe the money you
want), once you get aligned with it all you have to
do is whatever feels best.
And no one knows what that is but you.
Because, what feels good to one person, could be detestable to another.
So you have to learn to trust your inner guidance and hear your personal inspiration
and then have the courage to honor it.
Lots of people wont agree with the signals youre getting, theyll tell you why that
wont work, theyll tell you that you cant expect rewards without struggle, theyll give
you a lot of input that isnt helpful.
Remember, your job isnt to follow their instructions or win their approval or get
them to agree with what youre doing.

Your job is to align with abundance or prosperity and then answer whatever call
you get from guidance/Universe/inspiration.
Got it?
Its easy to forget, but super powerful to practice.
So do your best to get out of Universes way in delivering it, by tending to your
focus and then just trusting whatever is your idea of a good time.
My idea of a good time today is writing a free ebook on manifesting money. That
might be your idea of a terrible time. Who would want to do this? Who would think
this is fun? (Me, thats who! And thats why Im doing it!)
Because I know how it works. I tell Universe what I
want (by feeling it first) and it figures out how to get
me there. As long as Im having a good time, Im on
the path to what I want.
Your idea of a good time today might be going on a
family road trip to the big city. I dont mind a road
trip, but Id rather take a dog than go with the family
and I think big cities are to be avoided at all costs.
Take me to the mountains, please!
See how its different for each of us?
We cant get our action instructions from others. They simply dont know what
Universe knows about creating our abundance.
But you know. Its the impulses and nudges and whispers and inspirations and bright
ideas that come after you get aligned to what you want.
Trust those.
And stop working so hard to make your money. Its slowing up your whole party!
Two disclaimers before we end this chapter:

This only works when you are pointed where you want to go. If youre dialed on
worry or anxiety about money, then the impulses you get are just taking you to more
of that. You have to get dialed in to what you want first.
The way Abraham says this is, Alignment and then Meaning you have to get
vibrationally lined up with prosperity or abundance first. And then you do what feels
best.
Those three keys you studied here earlier will help you create that alignment. Theyre
not the only ways to get there, there are plenty of others, but theyre the ones Im
sharing in this book.
However you do it, though, get lined up first. And
then do what feels good.
Dont go quoting that I said all you have to do is
whatever feels good. Youve got to get lined up first.
Its a very key part of the formula!
Second disclaimer:
Sometimes your idea of a good time might involve
hard work. It might not be easy. It might involve
some sweat and some late nights. Who knows? Well,
you do. No one else does. Dont let them judge your
inspired actions. Because what inspires you might look like hard work to someone
else.
Writing this ebook is an example.
To my boyfriend who is out golfing right now, he thinks hes having a better time
than I am today. He thinks Im working. And technically, a lot of people would call
this work.
I call it inspired action. This is my idea of a good time.
After Im done with this, Ill probably take a shower. Then maybe walk the dogs.
Maybe do some yard work. Whatever sounds good.

I know to orient my life to paying attention to my focus first (which I dont get right
all the time. I do a lot of redirection.) But the system is very forgiving. So even when I
get it wrong some of the time, it still works well.
I pay attention to my focus first, and then I do, to the best of my ability, whatever
sounds like fun.
Because when I do that, I make it easy for Universe to deliver everything Ive been
wanting.
Okay, I got a little sidetracked in this disclaimer, but the point I want to make is that
sometimes whats calling you might seem scary. It might be to say Yes to a
speaking invitation, or to a new job across the country, or to adopt a kitten, or break
up with a love interest, or to get a surgery or to run
for office.
I dont know what your inspiration is and neither
does anyone else.
But when its something that makes you stay up late
because you cant tear yourself away from it or
when it makes your heart pound because its super
scary or when it challenges you because others
dont approve of it Im just saying sometimes
your inspiration might look like that.
It might be heart pounding and sweaty and an all-nighter and someone elses idea of no
fun. That doesnt mean it isnt inspired for you. Follow through and rock on with
your fabulous self.

W HERE W E G ET T RIPPED U P
Here are some of the common pitfalls and how to manage them that pop up
when practicing what weve talked about here
Needing others to agree with what youre doing.
They likely wont get it. Most of the world is comprised of muggles who think the
only way to make money is to work hard for it. So you just gotta get over needing
others to agree with what youre up to here if you want to practice this. You can do it!
Questioning inner guidance.
Its not unusual to question whether were hearing
higher guidance speaking or an inner critic. I know it
seems those should be easy to tell apart, but
sometimes we get confused. Sometimes we wonder
whether were really doing what feels best or are we
procrastinating or avoiding whats calling us forward.
The more you practice this and the more you trust
yourself the better you get at telling the difference.
You can do it!
Letting old habits rule the day.
Most of us were well trained that if we want something to happen we have to go out
and make it happen ourselves. And many of us are also operating from old
programming that we have to prove our worth before we deserve the reward.
Overcoming those old habits and programs is just a matter of committing to new
ones. You can do it!
Letting fear run the show.
Money worries can be contagious and compelling. Opting out of those thoughts and
choosing the ones that lead you to actual peace and prosperity takes conscious

commitment. And practice. This isnt usually one we master after doing it just one
time. Youll like to get to repeat the process again and again before it becomes your
new normal. You can do it!
Thats actually the theme Id like to you remember no matter what challenges you
bump into: You can overcome them. You can choose new ways of being. You can
create new habits that serve you.
Really, you can do it.
