1st Grade Language Arts Course Syllabus

2016-2017
ALL UNITS - HOMEWORK:
Each unit in Language Arts will have daily homework assignments.
Some assignments will be from the student practice book while other
homework will include supplemental worksheets. Please expect 3-4
reading activities a week. In addition, a reading log must be completed
each night. Students will read books on their reading level or a level
higher each night. Each weekend, students will complete a reading log
book report that will be handed in on Monday mornings. Students will
lose 5 points for each day not turned in. Parents are expected to check
the log daily and initial it.
