August 29-September 2

Hello All,
What a great week we had in fourth grade! I hope your child has come home
excited about school and ready to come back the next day. To those of you
who were unable to attend the Meet the Teacher night, your child brought
home some forms that need to be filled out and returned to school as soon as
possible. Please see to it that these forms are returned, as they are
very important.
If you havent signed up for our class Remind 101 group, please text the
message @davissde to 81010. This program, along with Skyward emails, will
be my main mode of communication.
Here is a quick note from Mrs. Marvin, our Project Lead the Way teacher.
Please send in these supplies if you have any around the house:
PLTW is in need of some household items in order to do several STEM
activities on Fridays. If you have any cardboard tubes (from paper towels or
toilet paper), I would greatly appreciate the donation! Thanks!!!
As we begin to work toward our 4th grade goals I am excited to share next
weeks standards, upcoming topics, and events with you. Please ask your child
during the week what they have learned, and how they can prove to you that
they are working toward or have mastered the standards we are practicing in
school. Your child should be practicing their multiplication and division facts
nightly along with reading a minimum of 20 minutes. It is imperative that
they are fluent in their facts and are reading consistently.
