Drainage System A drainage system is one way of avoiding water pooling or flooding.

The drainage can be

done around residential homes, walkways and barangay roads.
In our Barangay, most of the houses has a ditch (canal) which leads the water to the main
barangay drainage which then leads to the river so flooding during heavy rains rarely
occurs.
Safety and Security System
Each community has a safety and security system for the prevention of crime and the
promotion of public safety. Example is the installation of CCTV.
In our Barangay, Barangay Tanods assist the Barangay captain to attain peace and order
in our community by regularly conducting patrol/ronda every night. Any suspicious
activities during the patrol are monitored and immediately reported to the Police.
Waste Disposal System

Waste disposal is one of the pressing problem in our community. There are several options
for disposing of waste like, throwing, composting, recycling, etc., but most of our waste
ends up in landfills.
The waste disposal system in our community is through collection of garbage daily in the
market area and once a week in residential areas. The garbage collected are thrown in
landfills.

Purchasing System

Purchasing of household needs maybe made daily, weekly, monthly or on any desired period
depending on the budget of an individual.

Our community residents have different systems of purchasing

their household needs.
Some made their purchases on a weekly basis in grocery stores while others make it daily at
the town market.
It was observed that those who have regular salaries made their
purchases weekly at grocery stores.

Lighting System

In our community, street lights are maintained in the national roads as well as in the
barangay roads. The streets are automatically lighted at about 6:00 pm.
Transportation system

Is
a facility consisting of the means and equipment necessary for the movement of
passengers or goods.In our community, the means of public transportation are usually the
jeep, bus, pedicab and tricycle.

education system generally refers to public schooling more commonly to kindergarten

through high school programs.

Pre-elementary education is a requirement before entering elementary level. The K to 12

Dep Ed Program is being implemented, it covers kindergarten and 12 years of basic
education( 6 years primary education, 4 years of junior high school and 2 years of senior
high school) to provide sufficient time for mastery of concept and skills.
