Abstract
The malunggay leaves are highly nutrious, being significant
source of the Vitambeta-carotein c,protein, iron and potassium. The
leaves are cooked and used like spinach. In addition to being used
fresh as a substitute for spinach, its leaves are commonly dried and
crushed into a powder, and used in soups and sauces. Ointment is one
of the medicine that can cure wounds.
The procedure are all the materials will be gathered. Leaves will
be pounded. Pounded leaves of malunggay will be extracted. The extract
will be boiled. Boiled extract will then be cooled. The product will
then be applied to an open wound with the use of cotton.
I therefore conclude that the malunggay leaves can be a substitute
medicine in curing open wounds but its odor matters.
