Human Process Lab

25th August to 28th August 2016


(Residential, Thursday morning 9am to Sunday afternoon 1pm)
Palmyra Springs resort, Padappai, Chennai.

About the Human Process Laboratory:


This Human Process laboratory will span 28 hours on 3.5 days (25th August to 28th August) as
follows: 9am to 1.15pm and 3pm to 7.30pm on the 25th,26th, 27th and 9am to 1.15pm on the
28th August. Tea and Lunch will be served during the program at 11am, 1pm and 4pm.
The key objectives of the program are:

Increased participants ability to understand self and others in the context of work /
task focused relationships.
Increased personal effectiveness in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
Enhanced understanding of group functioning and effectiveness
Enhanced understanding of participants role in effective and productive groups
Demonstrating the capacity to give and receive feedback with care and accountability
Gaining a deeper understanding of group development and group dynamics to achieve
success
Opening new paths of communication and personal insight
Increased awareness of the impact the participant has on others and others on the
participant.

Who will benefit from this program?


Senior Managers and Executives who have regular interface with teams. Human Resource
Managers, Training & development, Public Relations and Sales professionals. First time people
Managers. Participants in this program will increase their understanding of groups and group
processes, build on and maximize their competence in working with people; increase their
awareness in regard to interpersonal dynamics and communication skills; and increase their
awareness in giving and receiving feedback.

Criteria for participating in this program:

Participants in this program attend because they choose to attend, and not because
they are forced to. They should be sufficiently familiar with the nature of Experiential
Learning models for them to make an informed decision about attendance.
Each participant should have a genuine desire to learn about herself/himself, about
interpersonal communication/interpersonal relations, and about impact of behavior on
others, in small groups and teams. Individuals must have openness and willingness to
work on themselves and in relation to others.
There is a mandatory participation in all the activities of the Human Process Lab Should
a participant wish to miss any part of the lab, he/she should inform the facilitators
beforehand.
It is essential that a person participates for the full 28 hours. Missing any session is
discouraged.
Full time residence is required of all the participants.

Persons who find it difficult to anything stressful should not participate in this program.
Facilitator:
The program will be facilitated by Dr Paul Siromoni. He is one of the founder member and a
professional member of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Sciences. He had also
undergone training at the National Training Laboratories, USA. He has been active and played a
significant role both in the regional and national ISABS, He has worked with the Asia Center for
Organizational Research and Development, Ecumenical Social and Industrial Institute, Urban
Rural Mission and YMCA. He was also a visiting faculty at Selly Oaks Colleges at Birmingham,
UK. Dr Paul Siromoni has received several awards and recognition for his services in the areas of
social development, Human Resources Development and Organization Development. He is
currently a consultant in the area of Human Resources Development, Organization
Development and Community Development.

Administrator:
Mr Thomas Stevenson will be the lab Administrator. He will also assist the Facilitator as and
when necessary. Mr Thomas Stevenson has extensive experience in the area of Human
Resources / Organization Development and has worked in both Indian and multinational
companies. He has had trainings / certification and several professional programs some of
which include Human Process Laboratory with ISABS, Strengthsfinder Coach with Gallup, USA
and also as an accredited LEMON Leadership consultant with the Institute, USA.

His experience in Industry spans 20 plus years and includes Engineering, Retail,
Telecommunications, Banking, Investment, and Information Technology in both Indian and
multi-national organizations. He has held various specialist and generalist assignments. He has
been involved in extensive work in various stages of the Organizational lifecycle from start-up,
consolidation to turnaround of companies working alongside the leadership of the
organizations. He is a member of FICCI panel on Human Resources since 2013. Mr Thomas
Stevenson has a passion to see leaders and businesses transformed by living their unique
purpose and have particularly enabled several startups and social enterprises to be successful
in their journey. He is a practicing Business and OD consultant and teaches courses, provides
coaching and mentoring to leaders and businesses.

Fees:
INR 15000/- per person. A discount of 10% is offered for 3 or more nominations from a single
organization. Last date for sending nominations will be 6pm on 22nd August 2016. Maximum
group size is 12 people. Nominations will be accepted on first come first served basis.
