Modern Orphanage Soon To Rise: Casa Esperanza of Angels

Foundation Acquires Land in Tanjay City
Dumaguete City, Philippines, August 30, 2016 Casa Esperanza of Angels Foundation, Inc. will soon
formally acquire a 2-hectare parcel of land for the construction of a modern orphanage facility in Tanjay
City, Negros Oriental, Philippines , 31 kilometers north of this city.
The title to the property is set to be turned over to the officers of the nonprofit within the next two
weeks by the local Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) office in Dumaguete City. Once completed, the
Tanjay City orphanage will house orphans, abused or abandoned children, and on a case to case basis
children in dire economic circumstances.
Ronald Brown, Founder and Executive Director of the organization said, We expect to be issued the
documents from BIR stating Casa Esperanza of Angels Foundation, Inc. as owners of the 2 hectare parcel
of land in Barrio Sta. Ines, Tanjay City.
CEAs cutting edge child care methods will set it apart from other institutions of its kind as it aims to
address the perennial problem of neglect in orphanages. Numerous studies, notably those conducted in
Romania and Uganda, suggest a correlation between the conditions of neglect, loneliness, and lack of
role models in an orphanage to a childs poor brain development and anti-social behavior as an adult.
Instead of industrial style accommodations where orphans are all housed together in prison-like
dormitories, the Casa Esperanza of Angels facility will have smaller homes for groups of children that
are supervised by house parents.
The house parents will be the backbone of our staff and must have the heart for this kind of work,
according to Mrs. Georgia Olis Brown, the Foundations Treasurer and Activities Director. Their
dedication and love for the children will be key to our success in raising children who will become an
integral part of society as they mature.
The Casa Esperanza of Angels Foundation is supported by donations from family and friends of the
Browns, as well as by other individual and institutional supporters in the United States.

Mr. Brown anticipates acquiring the necessary building permits and starting construction on the
property in the next few days. The orphanage facility will open its doors in the first half of 2017.
