Summer Library Hours:

The library will be open every day this summer from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. During this time NIST commu-
nity members can browse our collection, borrow books, and read magazines or the daily papers. Stu-
dents who have cleared their accounts at the end of the school year (e.g. who have no books overdue
and have returned all of their books), can borrow books over the summer holiday. For more informa-

Mother Daughter Book Club: Year 7 girls 2010-2011
Are you in Year 6, going into Year 7 next year? Are you an avid reader? Would you like join a group of
like-minded girls and mothers for a fun evening of food, book talk and activities? The Mother Daughter
Book club will meet once a month and each month mothers and their daughters read the same book
and get together to share their thoughts about the book and to participate in activities organised by
their hostesses. If you love reading and would like to join this group, please email Ms Stephanie, the
secondary librarian, who will be helping to set up this group. (swallis@nist.ac.th)

Y6 Exhibition:
Dear Beloved Parents, Students and Teachers,
I am writing this on behalf of the Year 6 Exhibition Trafficking and Freedom group: Anchilee Scott-
Kemmis, Maya Haldorsen Meredith Gelsinger, Namsai Sethpornpong, Tulsi Jipp and Yuri Suga in
6AR. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents, guests, teachers and students who
have helped raise a large sum of money for the IOM organization. ( International Organization of Mi-
gration.)
This large amount of money will be given to IOM and they will use it to pay for the resources that they
will need to help free the people who are entrapped in slavery. They mayeven use the money to build
temporary shelters for the victims of human trafficking and slaves in need. The large sum of money
that we have raised is 3,606 Thai Baht thanks to the donors.
