be out of the Country as of September
9th to October i8th.
I will attend our 19th Congregational
Chapter of Oakford Dominicans in
South Africa Natal.
I have been selected as one of the
delegates who will be participating
with the 24 of our Sisters who will
prayerfully elect a Prioress General
for our Congregation.
As always, When I am away our
Canonical Pastor, Fr. Maldonado
is responsible for our Parish
Community. Mrs. Maggie Bustamante
will be the contact person to

Single Parent Family Gathering
Bishop Gerald Kicanas invites all single parents and
their children to a Welcome Single Parent
Families Gathering. You are invited to come
together for a light meal, conversation, support within
our faith community and the opportunity to share
blessings and concerns.
The gathering will be held on Saturday, October
15th at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Center,
1950 W. Irvington Place, beginning at 2:00pm.
Mass at Our Lady of Fatima, celebrated by
Bishop Kicanas.
(This invitation includes single grandparents who
are raising children). We are all family and the
Church seeks to help all feel welcome and included.
