Global Business Services Contract

Manager
The Contract Manager of ABBs Global Business Services (GBS) is
responsible for the entire Life Cycle Management of Master Service
Agreements (MSA) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) assuring the legal and
operational basis of delivery of service and service fees for HR, Finance,
Supply Chain Management and Information Systems services to the business
globally.

Tasks
Support the drafting, finalize creation and assure appropriate
management approval of final MSAs;
Ensure governance and assure single ownership for the
relationship between MSA and SLA globally;
Act as custodian to the standard MSA document and ensure
deviation to the standard follows described process;
Examine impact of changes to MSA with GBS management
and financial team;
Manage entire MSA signing procedure global and ensure all
variable parameters of the MSA are accurate;
Work with Service Delivery Managers to assess impact of
reviewed versions of SLA and ensure the details are
consistent with the MSA;
Support Delivery Managers in consultative capacity for future
SLA changes;
Own the Safe custody, archiving and tracking of MSAs
globally;
Put in place appropriate controlling and tracking mechanisms
in line with legal and compliance requirements;

Manage the global contract Management Tool (CMT).


Support further development and improvements to the tool;
Ensure GBS Controlling is informed prior to any contract
cancellation or non-renewal;
Provide regular reports and analysis to Global Leadership
team and GBS financial department.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years' contract management experience in a
Business Service environment;
Experience in drafting and managing the life cycle of MSAs
and SLAs for large complex businesses;
Experience in handling and detailed understanding of
complex intercompany outsourcing arrangements;
Excellent analytical skills and commercial knowledge;
Experienced in reading and understanding legal documents;
Proven skills in consulting with internal business clients;
Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure;
Ability to think strategically and operationally/tactically;
Ability to drive change and improve end-to-end processes;

Experience in planning, contracting and supplier management


in an international;
Effective communication and negotiation skills and ability to
resolve complex issues in a highly international environment;
Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure;
Process oriented and proven ability to drive change and
improve end-to-end processes;
Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and
