Here's a quick FAQ about earning PDUs from The PM Podcast

Why does The PM Podcast qualify for PDUs?

The Continuing Certification Requiremnts (CCR) Handbook contains a section on "Ways to


Earn PDUs". One of the ways listed are the "Online or Digital Media" and PMI states that
"Many educational webinars, videos and other types of digital content are available online
and on demand". The PM Podcast falls into this category as long as the interviews are
"relevant to PMI Talent Triangle skill area topics, meet a specified purpose, and use
knowledgeable resources." Our podcast meets all three requirements.

You can claim a maximum of 60 PDUs for listening to The PM Podcast. (Yes SIXTY!)
Yes. A podcast has to be at leat 15 minutes long, so that you can claim 0.25 PDUs. PMI
explains this as folows: "Fractions of PDUs also may be reported in quarterly increments. This
means that if you spent 15 minutes participating in a qualifying PDU activity, you can report
0.25 PDUs. If you spend 30 minutes in a qualifying PDU activity, you can report 0.50 PDUs."

Should I claim PDUs for each episode

You have two options: (1) Claim Separately or (2) Claim Everything. Each option has it's pros

Each episode of The PM Podcast focuses on one specific topic, which means that each
