Christmas Eve Accident
I was in an accident on Christmas Eve. The temperature was falling below 32 degrees, it
was snowing and the roads were slippery. We had just finished exchanging gifts at my motherin-laws house. It was late at night and extremely cold. I was being very cautious by driving
under the recommended speed limit. When I drove over the bridge, I didnt slow down. When
the vehicle skid left, I over corrected the steering causing the vehicle hit the guard rail. After the
vehicle hit the guard rail, we realized the airbags did not deploy but the seat belts held us in
place. The scariest part of the accident was staying safe on Interstate 90 in limited visibility.
