Take time this summer away from the
TV and Video Games. Here are some
ideas to get you motivated to have a
Happy & Spontaneous Summer:
GO OUTSIDE:
Gather your friends for a game
Go swimming
Run through water sprinklers
Go to the park
Ride your bike around town
Camp in your backyard
Plant/Tend a garden
Go for a walk
Have a water balloon fight
Visit a friend
STAY COOL INSIDE:
Get comfortable and READ
Prepare a meal
Exercise
Bake cookies
Clean your room
Help with your siblings
Begin a project (puzzle, build,
draw, create something)
Write a letter to a loved one

SPOTLIGHT
Sarah McAvan is
the daughter of Pat
and Melissa McAvan.
She has 2 sisters and
just completed 6th
grade at Fairfield Middle School. She is involved in
Trampoline, Softball, and Volleyball. At church she is a Server,
Youth Lector and involved with
Youth Group. She likes to do
trampoline in her spare time. Her
favorite memory with St. Marys
Youth is going ice skating at the
Coralridge Mall. Sarah adds, I
am obsessed with neon green!.
